Capital GMC Buick Cadillac responded

As the saying goes, there are two sides to every story... There is no question that after this truck was modified (lifted), there was an unusual vibration coming from the truck, only under pretty specific conditions - full throttle acceleration, in 4wd (or auto) at highway speeds. Prior to this truck, we had already lifted dozens of trucks and have not ever encountered this issue. Yes, regretfully it did take several visits and some time to ultimately rectify the concern. What you didn't mention is that we had spent THOUSANDS of dollars of labour and parts to try to fix the concern including having a custom multi-piece front driveshaft manufactured and installed in attempt to correct this issue. As it turns out, this was the very first 2011 truck that we had lifted and the lift company (BDS) wasn't aware of a slight change in truck engineering from 2010 to 2011 that ultimately caused this vibration in the 2011 model year trucks. In working with BDS, they finally did purchase a 2011 truck themselves, identified the issue (which was a difference in driveline pinion angle of less than 3%), redesigned their kit and sent us the new parts that ultimately got rid of the vibration... and no, GM would not have paid for any of these things as it wasn't a GM truck issue, it was an aftermarket parts issue. If the truck was stock as GM built it, no vibration would have been present. Regardless of your age or future buying potential, the reason you were asked not to come back here is a direct result of the unwarranted verbal abuse and commotion that you kept causing when you were in here. I realize it was frustrating, however the way you treated us and the scenes you continually caused in front of other customers was absolutely uncalled for. It was a vibration under rare circumstances... never left you stranded, not a safety issue, no one was hurt, no one was in danger and your reactions and treatment of us absolutely unjustifiable. That is why we invited you to take your business elsewhere and unless things have drastically changed in your demeanor, our thoughts remain the same. I will mention that your partner was great to deal with. Was patient, kind an understanding. We treated each other with mutual respect and arrived at the correct and final solution together. PS - Dealer Rater is its own corporation, completely unrelated to the Capital Automotive Group in any way. Certainly, your review and this response will be posted publically, unless you choose yourself to take it down. Respectfully,
