This has been the sm Just drove off with our new 2016 CR-V Touring... This is our 3rd trade/purchase at this dealership, and our second from Darrin. This has been the smoothest deal we have made to date, and also appreciated the thoroughness and attention to detail that Awais did for completing the Honda Lease agreement and associated paperwork for extras. Because of the frequency we trade our vehicles, Darrin recommended a Honda Lease vs financing this time around. It is something we really hadn't considered before, but once we looked at all the pros and cons, the Honda Lease terms, etc, we decided to go this way. If it wasn't for Darrin's thoroughness during the sales process, we might have missed this. So we traded up from an EX-L to a Touring edition, and have lower monthly payments for the same term. Darrin is also the most through salesman we have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. He easily spends an hour to an hour and ½ explaining every feature in layman's terms so we can get the most benefit out of our new car. This time, he focused mainly on the upgraded/new features over our previous one so we weren't wasting time reviewing things we were already aware of. He also offered to assist with any of these items later if we had any additional questions. We should also mention that we have taken our vehicles to Honda West for all our servicing needs (mostly routine and/or service bulletin-related visits) since moving to Calgary several years ago, and find the service staff to be very thorough and professional. We also really appreciate the shuttle service to downtown so we can leave our car for the day when desired. So in summary, thank you again for a great experience overall. This was my second time purchasing a vehicle from Darrin at Honda West and it couldn't have been a better experience. I bought my first 2008 Civic from him a few years and I LOVE my car. When it was time for my husband and I to purchase a second car, we did our research and found the new HRV. We went back and met with Darrin, went for a test drive, he told us everything there was to know about this new model (he definitely knows his stuff!) and we ended up buying it. We then met with Gabe in Finance who made it very easy to spend our money :) He reviewed all of our options with protection plans and warranties and helped us make the best choice to protect our brand new vehicle. Since we purchased a new model, we had to wait a few weeks for it to come in to the dealership. Gabe was great at letting us know when it arrived and set us up to come in on our day off (we were traveling from Canmore). He was quick on his email to help set up a day that worked for us. When we went to pick up our new car, even the receptionist remembered us and greeted us. It was an exciting day for us and they all shared in our excitement. Brandon and I are SO HAPPY with our new car and will definitely be back when it's time to upgrade :) More

Darrin did a great job of giving me an overview of my new HRV and its systems and capabilities on delivery day. Seeing as my last vehicle was a 1997 Honda CRV, it was a steep learning curve! On delivery day we had to wait a few minutes for everything to be ready, but Darrin kept us in the loop and worked hard to get everything done quickly. The New HRV I contacted 3 dealerships by email through their websites about pre-ordering a HR-V and Darrin was the only one to get back to me and let me know when I contacted 3 dealerships by email through their websites about pre-ordering a HR-V and Darrin was the only one to get back to me and let me know when I could do so and with a "conditional on test drive "deposit all went well. Of course the vehicle arrived shortly after we had left for the summer but they looked after it for me until we got back. Darrin was awesome, very helpful and great at explaining things. He didn't start directing his sales pitch to my husband when I brought him with me for the test drive but stayed focused on me which was very nice. Gabe was also nice to deal with, no pressure to buy the extras, which I hate buying but my husband likes. We came to a compromise ?? Love the car so far and it's too cool that it's the only one I've see on the road. That won't last long. More
