Andrew Ward helped me buy my car at Whitby Toyota recently. I sought out Andrew as he assisted when I purchased my previous car at Whitby Toyota 13 years ago. Andrew has always helped if I had questions over the years. My son also has his car serviced at Whitby Toyota. He has had reason to deal with local auto dealerships other than Toyota to assist family members and has not been impressed. We both prefer Whitby Toyota. I was so glad I could count on Andrew when I was looking for another car. I felt so comfortable dealing with him. He is always cheerful and good-natured and will go beyond to help in any way. My "fair" rating is based on my last visit on June 24, 2021. I brought my 2017 Highlander Hybrid for a scheduled service as well as investigate the source of a gasoline smell from the engine. I was infor 2021. I brought my 2017 Highlander Hybrid for a scheduled service as well as investigate the source of a gasoline smell from the engine. I was informed that the mechanic/technician (#919) did not smell any gas odors but did notice that an "engine shampoo" was performed recently and that the smell may be related! I did clean the engine using a foam product on May 25, 2021 but this product had little to no residual odor whatsoever. Even if there was any odor, it would not be gasoline based or would have dissipated by June 24, 2021. Also I started my vehicle first thing this morning(June 26, 2021, 9:00am) and the gas smell still exists. This has been a disappointing visit to Whitby Toyota and not what I've come to expect. More
