I should have taken the time to read some of the past reviews before engaging with Whitby Toyota. Unfortunately, my experience only confirmed what others described regarding that location, including a troubling lack of professionalism, not to mention basic courtesy. My partner and I had made specific arrangements with Allam Bachir regarding a new vehicle purchase. Yet when we showed up as scheduled, we were told they would not honour the agreement we had made the previous day. When the Sales Director, Richard Alam, was contacted, he simply confirmed that decision in a dismissive, unapologetic way … and walked away ! This kind of attitude, not only from the team who had misled us and proceeded with lying to our faces, but also from their management, is simply unacceptable. Thankfully in our case, this occurred early enough in the process that we had not yet committed to anything. Needless to say, we will be taking our business elsewhere. More
