Poor service - nothappy
My car had only 33,000 Km and I have already replaced all rotors, pads and clips at a cost of $1000! I am not happy about this especially since my car has been faithfully serviced at your shop where brakes were supposed to be inspected. No compensation was offered.
Also the car hood was corroding and had to be replaced.
This was done July 31-Aug 31 by Mckeown and and I was terribly upset with the poor quality job; my car body was in worse condition than before! Not only does the hood have to be re-done, now the whole front bodywork had to be sanded and painted.
A list of defects I noticed is below :
Hood replacement done July 31-Aug 3
1. Car was dirty; unable to see paint job until I washed it
2. Large paint runs, both fenders
3. Many small bumps on hood surface (50+), some very large
4. Crater ( maybe more) on right side of hood
5. Paint tacky on left side leading edge of hood
6. Tape tracking very visible on inside edge of fenders
7.Leading edge of hood not completely painted; prime visible
Mckeown was prompt in dealing with issue and told me to choose another shop and they would pay the bill; which I did and the job was re-done to my satisfaction. Mckeown did not offer any compensation for my out of pocket costs and time as I requested Sept 7. My feeling is that McKeown left the re-repair up to me and did not offer to take charge, Bill Mckeown disagrees.
In summary my experiences have not been satisfactory.
