Brought my 2016 3500 in to get my fuel filters changed took them 1 and a half hours??? Didn't put the seal on the fuel filter canister drove to GP lost a quarter tank of fuel. Cost me another $200 to buy tools and a seal plus my time. There not willing to admit to it or compensate me xxx. Never go back again.

Sales was great to deal with, got me what i wanted and was quick and very informative. Been 27 days now and they still haven't paid out my old car loan. No responses after calling over and over. Paying interest i should not be paying and double vehicle payments. Definitely would not suggest dealing with them as their accounting dept is horrible.

Jason and Seth, I am truly sorry for not getting this review out sooner so that the two of you would know just how much your care and exceptional service is valued. Regrettably, I missed a step in the process of preparing my first response to you folks resulting in the review never reaching you. You are both outstanding ambassadors of Mac James Motors - North. Jason, you are an amazing professional that truly listens to the needs of the customer while working with the potential buyer (my wife and I) to ensure a vehicle purchase that meets all the desires and needs of the customer. In order for you to achieve this result with us, you convinced us to wait a few days longer for a vehicle that was purchased by your company and that was on its way to the north store of Mac James Motors. While we were anxious to make a purchase and move on, you felt that the Honda CRV that was on its way better suited our requirements even though there were other medium-sized SUV's on the lot that we also liked and that were available for release immediately. If not for you, we would have proceeded with the purchase of one of the existing vehicles. When we first saw, inspected and took the Honda CRV for a test drive we were both thrilled with the vehicle and quickly proceeded with the purchase! We have had the unit for a few weeks now and we both love it! My wife and I are both seniors and as such have purchased and sold many vehicles over the course of our lives. Never have we encountered such a high level of professionalism and customer care as we received from you and Seth; yes, this includes New and Used Dealerships across western Canada. At no time did you Seth or the other sales associate at the North store make us feel uncomfortable about making a purchase for a second-hand vehicle. We decided some time ago that we would no longer purchase new vehicles due to the depreciation hit that the initial buyer has to take, This being said, any and all future vehicle needs that we have will be attended to by none other than Mac James Motors. I bought a used SUV there through an online purchase. I called a couple days before I came to get it, no answer. Called the next morning and lady was able to find my file and Saud someone would call me back ,never called. Called later in the day to confirm that I would be picking it up the next day. Called on my way into the city 5 hrs before I got there to confirm that the vehicle would be ready to go . Got there paperwork was ready but dead battery in the vehicle. They had to call a tow truck to open the door and boost the Vehicle. Exterior of vehicle was dirty and fuel level was low . They did not seem to care about how much of a waste of my time this was and that because of their incompetence I missed another appointment and had to stay an extra night in the city.I will make sure I never go there again for a vehicle purchase.

Nick and Brett were great at the time of the sale. 2 weeks after receiving my vehicle it was using oil. No visible leaking. Engine lights on. I told them about it. They had insisted on extra warranty. The warranty didn’t cover the initial sensors our mechanic changed. Kept informing Carwest. Finally it left stranded. Needed work. None of the work was covered under this warranty they had me pay monthly for. So. He covered 2/3 of the bill. Which is great. But not all of it. It’s still doing the exact same thing. Uses about 2 litres of oil every 10 days. Expensive. They Told me to drive it a year and they’d get me into something better. My credit is something I’m working on but they can’t get me into a different vehicle. They don’t look after you. They never took the car back to their shop and fix it at their cost. I’m stuck with a lemon that I can’t even go out of town with. Worst dealership EVER!!! They didn’t stand behind their vehicle sale. I can’t go anywhere with this car and I’ve told them from the beginning the problems. I do not recommend this dealership. To sell a vehicle they say they went through completely. Yes I kept all records of the texts and emails so they know I contacted them and when. I was ripped off.

It got me through my College Education travelling almost 2 hrs between cities for almost 2 years! Never any trouble with the car ever! Sadly I later was involved in an accident following Graduation. A couple months later I looked at Edmonton Imports Website and they had a vehicle I ended up LoOving even more! This second car blew my mind after signing the paperwork! LoOves it!! Almost 3 years ago, I bought a 2012 Avenger from here. They were super friendly and bent over backwards to get me in the car. When I went to pick the car up, I was surprised to hear I would be paying 19.9% interest. There was a added on warranty which, was added to the purchase price and. The vehicle has had a GPS ignition interrupt system installed. Which is also added to the price. The car was priced $1,095 adobe blue book. Within a month, I had to replace the throttle body, $1,190. You see, the warranty only covers internally lubricated parts. “Engine and trans”. Replace 2 airflow actuators, $970. Have the bumper cover installed properly so it wouldn’t come off. Another $750. This dealer is not a AMVIC member. The problems continue. If you have a breakdown, they’ll lend you the money for repairs at 20% interest. You couldn’t convince me to ever go near this place again. By the time you pay your vehicle off, you’ve paid for it twice.

A friend asked me about a used vehicle at this dealership. I went to the website and chose used vehicles all, they don't have any!!! Clicked on staff, a line came up to click on one of the staff below, there were none. So no used vehicles and no staff to talk to. Great way to run a dealership.
