I decided to visit Mazda Yorkdale Dufferin after chequing prices and quotes online. I was very pleased to obtain fast service by Matt, minutes after entering the front door. I came with my 2 buddies, and he prices and quotes online. I was very pleased to obtain fast service by Matt, minutes after entering the front door. I came with my 2 buddies, and he allowed all three of us to sit in his tiny office as we discussed cars and prices. He took the time to answer My questions as well as my friends, pertaining to a new Mazda 3, with no rush at all. We negotiated a great price and all three of us walked out satisfied with an agreement. A few days later, I picked up the car and he took the time to show me all the features and to set up the blue tooth. I am having fun now with my new car, and thank Matt for his professionality, honesty and patience, and thought he knew his product and business quite well! More
Horrible Customer Service! I brought my Mazda3 to this Horrible Customer Service! I brought my Mazda3 to this dealership in order to get it repaired. Prior to bringing it in, I asked one of the technic Horrible Customer Service! I brought my Mazda3 to this dealership in order to get it repaired. Prior to bringing it in, I asked one of the technicians, Mike, to send me a quote outlining the breakdown of the cost for the repair. I was given two quotes: one that involved bumper replacement (~$1338) and the other without bumper replacement (~$710). After receiving the quotes, I called Mike to let him know that I would like to go with option #2 (ie: no bumper replacement). I came in to the dealership today to pick up my car and I was asked to pay $1338! I told Tony (another technician) that that was the price associated with bumper replacement, which I *specifically* asked them *not* to do. Long story short, I tried to tell them that I would only pay for the service that I had asked for. The mistake was clearly made on their end. Tony said that he would not be able to release the car to me unless I pay $1338. Their whole thing was, to pay the full amount now, wait until Monday for Mike to come in to work, and if the discrepancy was caused by their own employee, then I would get reimbursed. I told them that I would be putting myself in a very dangerous position, because once they get my money, there is no guarantee that they will own up to their mistake. After over 40 minutes of going back and forth with Tony and Surinder (dealership manager), they managed to get a hold of Mike who confirmed what I had been trying to explain for about 40 minutes. I have no intention of giving this dealership my business again. They seem to have a lot of problems with their internal process, more specifically in the area of communication, thus leading to incidents like this. In another occasion, I had called to let the receptionist know that I would not be able to drop off my car one evening. I told her that I had spoken to Mike earlier in the day and that he was expecting me to arrive that evening. The next day, I got a phone call from Mike asking me where my car was. I told him that I had asked the receptionist to pass on my message, which she clearly did not. I will be filing a complaint with Mazda Canada in more detail as I do not believe that customers should be treated this way. More
Unbeleivable! I drove over an hour to see this car. The car had stuff all over it from some employee that must have been using it for themselves. I had called the night before to set the appointment so it car had stuff all over it from some employee that must have been using it for themselves. I had called the night before to set the appointment so it wasn't that it was a surprise. The sales man seemed to have very little knowledge about the car..... we asked numerous questions and most times the responce was I'm not sure.... I'll have to check.... again I had booked the appointment the night prior so He had all day to familiarize himself with the cars features. When asked about warranty, I was told that we wouldn't discuss that until I had decided that this was the car...... STRANGE! So took the car for a test drive..... was directed to take only around the block... I askes if we could take it to get it up over 80 km/hr...... No can't do that.No where to go... OK? STRANGE!...... Took the test drive..... then when we got back decided to see about the warranty..... So I was looking to trade my car..... So I asked for the appraisal..... The sales man started taking some info and then asked for my cell number..... I asked why do you need my cell number? He flew off the handle saying I need it for my records......STRANGE! But ok.....He then went on to tell me that he wasn't just going to give me an evaluation for free......That is what is advertised on their website...he was very agressive and pushy..... very strange behaviour.... It was bizarre..... Then we got an evaluation of my car that was absurd. We are talking 7-8 thousand less than the average on auto trader..... and they claim on their site to give top dollars.... we were told that auto trader isn't a true price.... ok I'll give them 2 -3 thousand less.... have to make some money in which I understand. The numbers were nuts..... along with the salesman and his tactics. Just a bizarre experience.... I was glad my friend was with me..... no one would have beleived it. NO SALE!..... So Run Away from this Dealership! My Experience was HORRIBLE! Even if it was the deal of the century I wouldn't have bought from this guy. More
