Worst customer service, ripped door off my car! After purchasing a brand new Sante Fe Sport, the first time I took the SUV in for an oil change, the mechanic was backing the car off the hoist and ri After purchasing a brand new Sante Fe Sport, the first time I took the SUV in for an oil change, the mechanic was backing the car off the hoist and ripped the driver side door off the car. Accidents happen and we were given a Sante Fe rental. Once our car was ready, I picked it up to have the smug manager tell me the oil change was free of charge. There was no, "And...." Not having our car for two weeks, having to travel back and forth to the dealership multiple times, the manager said that is all they can do, to not charge me for the oil change! The second and last time I brought the SUV in because the trailer light module was faulty. We purchased an extended warranty and had used a trailer ONCE before. They said it was an item not under warranty and I would have to pay for the diagnostic assessment or replace the model at a cost of $216.00 (I bought a new one after at Cdn Tire for $6.99). After telling the mechanic there is no way I'm paying $216 for a $6 dollar part, he began acting rude and was sulking around the car to pull it out of the garage. Rather than looking for ways to make customers satisfied, the manager looks for ways to avoid paying/replacing anything! He said that is the way things are. If that is the way things are, I asked if they are putting cheap parts on cars so that they don't last and have to be replaced after being used on once, he again repeated, "That is the way things are. There is nothing we can do." I will take my Hyundai to London from now on. More

Ever try to get an update to the navigation software - good luck! Parts never in stock, always requires a return visit. My Genesis has been a great car though. More

Problems with both sales and service I purchased my first new car from Woodstock Hyundai in August 2014 (I had purchased used elsewhere before). I was thoroughly unimpressed with the salesman (Cliff). He would not give me a straight answer/bottom line price of the car I was interested in and danced around my questions. He quoted me a monthly price for payments and when I came back in the next day, he quoted me an entirely different price because he had forgotten to include mudflaps? I found him difficult to deal with. I ended up purchasing the vehicle anyway (and I love the actual car, by the way!) so I thought I would give their service department a try. I've been in for service three times (oil change, tires changes) and despite making appointments 3 weeks in advance, every time they have overbooked my time slot and I've ended up waiting 1-2+ hours for tasks that are relatively quick elsewhere. I have great things to say about the Saturday service desk guy/mechanics (they are very friendly and helpful!), but the wait times are ridiculous. AMENDMENT: I spoke to the manager after my last service and he was very friendly and promised to rectify these issues the next time I was in for service. Definitely appreciated! More
We purchased a used 2007 Santa Fe from Woodstock Hyundai. After talking with the sales person about warranties, financing, we decided to purchase. The first question I asked the salesman was can we bring the vehicle to any Hyundai dealer, he replied yes any Hyundai dealer garage will apply this. The second question I asked about is if we could just get the vehicle sprayed with an oil lubricant undercoat, he then replied and no that would void the warranty. We live about 60 km away from this dealership so we bring our vehicle to the Hyundai dealer in our city for services. I was there for a service and I had asked the service attendant to apply the undercoat spray, and he said that he had not heard of this material, and that it must only be a dealer package to bring it back where we had bought the vehicle. More
I took my car back in for several things that were wrong. Within a few hours they called me back. The important things had not been fixed. I took it to another dealer in the area and they were happy to help me. I no longer have that lemon and I have a beautiful pick up with more warranty than I could have imagined for a used vehicle. Hyundai...offered me no warranty. I would never recommend them. Not even to an enemy. More
