service counter needs attitude adjustment Long story short, I bought a rare, specific used truck at kitchener ford with full service and maintenance plan. I live in Norwich so Woodstock (15 mins away) is closer. They tell me to go to kitchener to get my services done because I bought it there. I refuse, and tell them ford is ford, Canada wide. They finally accept to work on my truck. But the work they will do with this warrantee is bare minimum and they will wait to the last second to change something. I have more included oil changes than I will need so when I go in and its not for an oil change, I still ask for the oil change to save me a trip. They flipped out over my request, but I PAID THE MAINTENANCE PLAN AND HAVE xx OIL CHANCES PAID FOR SO CHANGE IT WHEN I ASK! they refuse to drive me home 15 mins to Norwich so I need to spend the whole day at the dealer waiting for my service and repairs. And out of 4 visits so far, not one visit was completed in one visit. Always had to order something As goes for my maintenance plan, I need to call them out on the repairs for the repairs to actually get done. Then they look at it and tell me they will order required parts and to book another appointment. As if I have time for that. We have jobs and families too you know. Ever notice Woodstock ford is the only dealer without a rating on Google? That alone speaks volumes. I'll be driving the extra distance to a different dealer from now on since I never get a ride home and need to wait regardless. More

Well, here goes. The wife and i went to look for a vehicle, used vehicle. I have always liked ford so i was looking for a van. Mini van like my ford windstar 2000. Well there was not too much out there so we decided to go to the woodstock dealership just to see. Well we arrived and there was someone right there ready to help us . There was a bunch of questions like "how are you and what are you looking for".. Then Crystal asked about the Flex, well i did not really like it but she said just check it out.. I said no. That was me. I know you said no , but just take it for a drive and then you will know for sure, she said . Long story short, they were friendly and informative. Dealerships have, in the past, gotten a bad rap... (and deservedly so in most cases)... but the dealerships of today have learned their lessons in this competitive industry. Recently I have noticed that deservedly so in most cases)... but the dealerships of today have learned their lessons in this competitive industry. Recently I have noticed that my regular garage has been downsizing drastically... and so this gave me the push to go find alternatives... and in my search I seen the dealerships have my vehicles factory parts ( most of the time cheaper than rebuild retail parts ) .. and their technicians are factory trained... this made sense to me all of the sudden. I decided to give them a try... and have been impressed with everything I have seen so far... They actually come up with alternatives to diagnosing and fixing issues, and if i try to buy a part that isn't really needed... they where quick to say STOP... lets see if your current part actually needs replacing... they are quick to answer my questions, and if they don't know the answer... they will bring in one of their onsite specialists to answer it... no bull-xxxx answers anymore... that is VERY important in today business dealings. They are always quick to offer me a welcomed feeling by offering me a coffee, a ride to a destination... and at the touch of a few buttons, alternate transportation while my vehicle is with them. My attitude toward dealing with dealerships has been changed in a few short weeks... I'm glad I tried out Woodstock Ford... and they make me confident if I ever need their services, or just a few quick answers, in the future. Thanks to everyone there... they are a great team. More
