I like that they do an overall inspection of the car everytime I bring it in for service. The print out of the status of the car is very helpful. I have a vehicle that has an oil monitor and they appreciate that I will bring it in based on that and don't pressure me to bring it in every 5,000km. However, they have reminded me that for general maintainence it is good to bring it in before my oil gets really low, so I bring it in every 10,000km. More
I have been bringing my vehicle to GSL for the past two years and have always had great service there. The last time I had my vehicle in for service I was greeted by Kristina. She processed the vehicle fast, efficiently . She made me feel that this was the place to bring my vehicle to and that everything I needed to have done would be completed properly and finished when they said it would be. She made sure to ask me if I needed a shuttle and offered me a coffee and muffin on the house. I was immediately informed when my vehicle was ready by Kristina. I had troubles with my old, tired truck battery a couple of days later. I sent a quick email to Kristina to see if she could help point me in the right direction of who to talk to to have this rectified. She immediately replied and said she could take care or it and got me an appointment the next day. Kristina went over and above to help me that day. Her customer service was absolutey top notch. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back to GSL. More
Attentive, friendly, always on time, gives the extra effort to make certain all points are addressed both at entry and before you leave the dealership. I always recommend Patrick as he is fair, honest and does the best to acomadate. Nobody likes to take their vehicle in for servicing and if you can come out un-scathed with a massive bill, people view this a the best to acomadate. I have dealt with Kurt several times at GSL and i wanted to take the time to write this review as Kurt has always taken the time to go above the line of duty for me. Kurt continues to make me feel like a valued customer which i appreciate and has caused me to continue to service my vehicle at GSL. Christina Koch regularly telephones with updates while my vehicle is being serviced so that I have an idea of my timing in terms of be informative. Christina is easily reachable, and returns her voice messages as quickly as possible, so that one does not get frustrated looking for updates or answers. GSL is convenient; they offer a super shuttle and pick-up service, and I would not take my GM vehicle anywhere else. More

Recently, I experienced a problem with my 2000 Chev Silverado where on a cold start, the vehicle would idle poorly and want to quit. As I have always had my vehicle serviced at GSL, I made an appointme Silverado where on a cold start, the vehicle would idle poorly and want to quit. As I have always had my vehicle serviced at GSL, I made an appointment to have them try to diagnose and correct the problem. There was no sensors being activated to provide any help in diagnosing. My service advisor was Christina Koch who was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem. I left the truck with her and in conjunction with the technicians at GSL, we proceeded to test the mass Air Flow sensor and fuel pump. Neither of these were the cause of the problem. Subsequently, with Christina's help, it was arranged to do an Active Fuel Injector Test and a manifold test. However, on starting the vehicle, neither test could be performed as it had started without the problem recurring. The problem continued to be very difficult to diagnose as it did not always recur. I continued to have discussions with Christina, who acted as a liaison with her foreman and service manager in attempts to diagnose the problem. She advised that I was to pay particular attention to any unusual details which could act as clues to the problem. Finally, I noticed that the vehicle seemed to have a fluid leak under the right side of the engine on cold starts when the problem recurred. I had been calling and emailing Christina on a continuous basis and when I told her what I had noticed, she once again immediately had discussions with her foreman. At this point it was concluded that the problem was very likely an air intake leak despite no sensor indication. I scheduled the truck to have the air intake gaskets replaced. After this, the truck started and ran very well. My experience through this entire problem was very positive in dealing with GSL and Christina in particular. My ongoing communications with Christina through this time were always returned promptly and in a very friendly an efficient manner. In my opinion, she went to great lengths during this period in her discussions with the GSL technicians, the service foreman and the service manager in an effort to help me diagnose and correct this problem. In the future, when I have my truck into GSL for service work, I will certainly ask for Christina to be my service advisor. Dealing with her has been a refreshing pleasure and I continue to be grateful to everyone at GSL and Christina in particular. More
