Our sincere apologies for the poor experience, it was never our intent to create issues and provide sub-par service. Once the advisor Dale was made aware of what had occurred he immediately test drove the vehicle and got it back in the shop to have the concern rectified, bumping other appointments to do so. The tech made a mistake and has been reprimanded. We apologize for the inconvenience.

James, it was never our intent to waste your time and not rectify the issue. A situation like this is not ideal for any party involved, especially the customer, which is what Sean was trying to convey. Unfortunately the scenario that presented itself was beyond our control - we had exhausted all of the options available to us on this specific Saturday which sadly did not resolve the issue. We had one of our most experienced senior techs on the job and had reached out to Kia Canada shop support for assistance, they are closed on the weekends which is another reason why we were unable to progress. We feel like we now have the necessary answers to rectify the issue if you do choose to return for your appointment this weekend. Our sincerest apologies for this situation.

You are completely missing the point. I fully understand why the work was unable to be completed. But Sean was being very condescending. He was visibly annoyed that I was frustrated with having to make yet another return to the dealer to resolve a problem that should have been caught before I was sold the vehicle. Yes, my being frustrated annoyed him, which is really sad. When I explained my frustration he did not seem to care at all. I said that while he was being paid for his time at the dealer........I was not. It was 1130 am..... and I said that the work not being completed on my car today was not going to cost him any time, or keep him there late today......to which he sarcastically replied....."it might"! When I asked him how......he had no answer. When I mentioned it was a major incovenience to me to as by the time I would get home this was 3 hours out of my day and I would now have to make another return trip.........he blew it off and sarcastically said that it was the service tech that was inconvenienced. To which I replied that if he is getting paid to do a job .......then he is still getting paid....not much of an inconvenience......I am the one not getting paid to be here......and am driving across the city and burning my gas which is costing me money. The absolute complete lack of empathy demonstrated by Sean along with his sarcastic tone .......and what now appears to be your whitewashing of this behavior I find very disturbing as a first time KIA customer.
