We w I would like to inform you of the terrible treatment of customers at Winnipeg Kia. My wife and I decided to buy a new Kia from a Winnipeg Kia. We were there for 3 and a half hours and we were subjected to high pressure sales tactics. Low trade in offers and misinformation. We agreed at the closing time of the dealership that we would purchase the vehicle. We put 1000 down which we were told was because they were installing a remote starter for us so we agreed. Upon waking up the next day we decided to look into the incentives offered online and there were descrepancies between what we were told and what we received. So I contacted the dealer and wanted to cancel the deal. I went in and the sales manager met me at the door. He brought me straight to his office. He explained everything to me clearer this time. However we had lost trust in what was said there. I left saying that I may request my deposit back. I then went to the other dealer in Winnipeg to verify. While at Birchwood Kia I asked about the incentives and told them all the details of my deal with Winnipeg Kia. The sales manager said that the Winnipeg Kia salesmanager was correct with what he told me. However after our experience there I wasn't satisfied witht the deal at Winnipeg Kia. So I got Birchwood Kia to work on deal to compare the 2. He came back with a substantially better deal. So I called Steve Klassen at Winnipeg Kia to cancel the deal. He proceeded to belittle me and call my integrity into question. He said I would not receive my 1000 dollars back as it was non refundable. He then said he was speechless with my actions and said in all his years dealing with customers this was the worst he had ever been treated. He told me I am now buying 2 cars and that I have to cancel my new deal with Birchwood. I am pretty sure laws and ethics were broken in this conversation. I then had to try to tell Birchwood I couldn't go through with the better deal as I was bound to Winnipeg Kia on the first car. I signed no ownership documents, no financial papers. In fact I called back to cancel the deal in less than 12 hours. To me and everyone else the actions of Steve Klassen throughout this ordeal were appalling. It was a breath of fresh air dealing with Birchwood. Doug Teney and Kristie Wisheranko were more than excellent to deal with and should they choose to work somewhere else we will definitely deal with them again. At this point if Winnipeg Kia were to have half the value of the car locked up I don't think I would buy from them. More

Disappointed I had such a great experience with Justin at Kia Waverley. He sold me my 2016 Kia Soul which I absolutely love. The service had been great until just recently when I had command start installed. First of all it took the guy that showed me how to work it 3 or more times to start it and so I wasn't too happy about that. He said we'll give it a go and if you have any more problems or it isn't working call us. Well it took many tries to get it to work and once I did get it started when I went out to my car to get in and unlocked the door with the command start key the car shuts off. I had already taken a day off to get this installed and cannot afford to take another one. So I called Kia service at Waverley and the guy said I would have to bring it in. I told him the only way I could do that is if they would give me a loaner car because I can't take more time off work. He said that he couldn't authorize it and would have to his supervisor call me after 2:00. He said that they were really busy that day. Too busy for a valued customer? I never got that call and haven't heard from anyone since. I guess I am stuck with a malfunctioning command start until I can figure out a time to get the car back in. Very disappointed -Cindy W More

We waited this long to make our review because, since we bought a used car, we wanted to make sure we had been given what we were promised. I can happily say that we love our car. We first approached the dealership online ( sales person Yemi Igbinyemiin) regards a car we had seen on their website. Right away we were able to book an appointment to get the information we needed. I loved that I felt heard and no one tried to push anything different down our throats, so... we closed the deal that same day. As a result of our purchase, we were also given a Christmas gift that was actually delivered to our house by Mike Shaw (our sales person) the following day! We knew what we wanted...we got that and more. Without a doubt, next time we are in the looks for a new vehicle, we will come back to this magnificent team of people. More
