I stopped by Willowdale Nissan to look at a Nissan XTerra that I had seen on Auto Trader. I met with the assistance used car manager and proceeded to take a look at the vehicle which was in good shape and I that I had seen on Auto Trader. We went back to the office to sit down and go over the numbers - that is where this entire experience went south. We discussed what they were looking for the used vehicle which was a bit higher than average but OK. Its negotiable and used XTerra's that are in good shape can be hard to find - a fact they obviously know and were playing up. They went outside and took a look at my vehicle and supposedly appraised my vehicle for $4000 less than any other dealership had appraised my vehicle at. (Its important to note that my vehicle is a 2 years old Fully loaded Nissan Rogue SV AWD in excellent shape and is beautifully maintained with all service records) The sales rep then proceeded to try to justify the ridiculously low quoted value of my vehicle. I was told the reason was the mileage (Ok it was a little high at 86K, but not crazy at all), because it was beyond the bumper to bumper warranty period, and unbelievably because my vehicle's color is blue. (WHA???! The color is very nice - I don't understand this logic at all) I could tell they were trying to play me as he tired very hard (Not successfully) to try to convince me that my vehicle had a low value. He even went on Auto Trader and tried to compare my vehicle with others - he compared my to an S model that is significantly inferior and tried to price compare - it was outrageous and downright ridiculous. It was obvious they wanted to try to pickup my car for a crazy low price and try to sell me the XTerra at an inflated price. I ended up leaving the dealership quite ticked off - it was an insulting and degrading experience. The sales rep was condescending and of no help whatsoever - and please note I was dealing with the Assistant Sales Manager... Absolutely terrible experience - they should be truly ashamed of how they dealt with me as a potential customer. I was treated as if I had STUPID or SUCKER slapped across my forehead. More
I am now on my third lease with Willowdale Nissan. The first was an infiniti and then when i retired two Rogues - the latest last spring 2013. So that is almost 10 years of leases and (not wanting to jinks myself) not one squeak, rattle, noise, when I got it new and not one problem with it. NONE. My only time back was for regular maintenance, oil changes, filters etc and service was great. Why did I rate what I did - it speaks for itself with these comments. I have made three referrals to them and would not do that to my friends if there was a problem. It is nice to see in this day and age with crazy businesses and usually a lack of service that Willowdale Nissan stays above that threshold of bad service. More
It was amazing experience. I came to make my oil change and check-up. I was served as soon as I came. Service was done quickly and with great quality. Worst dealership ever visited regardless of the make. Trust me they may smile and promise you false prices. It all changes when you actually sit down and start the paperwork. I have bought cars from 10k to 100k but, this dealer made me say goodbye to nissan and infiniti brand forever. I am actually taking my personal time to post this to let general public know. Because, you will be sorry. They've got to get their management sort this out or this dealership will be having hard time upping the reputation. More
To all Nissan owners who use this place for servicing, I highly recommend you find another place, because this place runs the biggest scam I've ever experienced. I brought my car in for an oil change on december 2012, and spoke to Peter Gorny, the "service advisor". He recommended about $700 in maintenance, which included a cabin filter change, rear brake servicing, and injector flush. I couldn't believe the price they were charging, so I refused all the repairs, and brought my car in to a good mechanic, and asked what it would cost to perform the same items. He told me that the rear brakes didn't require servicing for at least another 5000 km, but he could do the other items. The grand total that he charged me? $33.95. Yes, that's $34 bucks whereas willowdale dealership was charging me $700. Avoid this place like the plague folks. More
Worst after sales service i have ever experienced. Once you buy the car, you will be ignored. Service dept is not open on Saturdays and they only have 2 service advisers in the service dept. I routinely have to wait 15 or 20 mins to see a service advisor. Don't bother trying to call for an appt, they never pickup the phone. More
