July 6 my husband & I test drove a RAV4. We put down a $1000 deposit to buy conditional on Whitby Honda detailing the vehicle to get rid of the overpowering stench of cigarette smoke. Our salesperson told us the car would be cleaned and that we would have an opportunity to check the car prior to picking the vehicle up on Fri at the earliest, or on Sat at the latest. We signed the purchase order & our salesperson advised us he was off on Thurs but someone would contact us on Thurs to come into the dealership. Late Thurs morning, when we hadn't heard back from anyone, my husband phoned the dealership and was told the sales manager would be contacting him. In the afternoon, when we still hadn't heard back, my husband called back and was told by reception, that the sales manager said not to come in, and to wait for the salesperson who would be back in on Fri. Late Fri morning- still no word on the vehicle. After numerous phone calls to the dealership, my husband finally got ahold of our salesperson, who asked why we hadn't come into the dealership on Thurs?? We told him, we were told not to by his sales manager!. Long story short - nothing had been done to the vehicle since our visit on Wed - it had not been cleaned, no one seemed to have a clue what was going on and not one person called us back. All communication was initiated by my husband. Needless to say, on Fri, we asked for our deposit back, and the dealership lost a $31,000 sale. We drove straight to Ontario Hyundai where within the hour, we purchased a vehicle, with the best customer service ever. The one star is for Michelle the receptionist who took our calls and tried her best to have someone phone us back. More
In stock vehicles are sold above MSRP. I understand and was told that it is based on ‘current market conditions’ and other (not all) dealerships do this. Regardless i prefer to do business with ‘fair’ dealerships who don’t do markups - personally i think this is short sighted and based on this have chosen to wait longer with another dealership and do my preorder with them. The shortage is temporary and thus i know the pricing strategy of this dealership is temporary - when things do settle down i will definitely remember this experience and will not work with this dealership or any related dealerships within this network in the future when i am looking for a second vehicle. Reviewing the reps Aj was not clear as to what actually was in stock, incoming or required a preorder. Instead there was a push for me to come ‘visit’ - when i kept pushing to understand the vehicle that was supposedly ‘in stock’ was actually sold and the goal was foe me to visit and do a preorder. I dont mind this but i prefer just being clear and honest as to the status of the vehicle. Its a waste of my time and yours. Miguel on the other hand was great in that he was honest and clear as to what was actually available and my options. Although i dont agree with the pricing that isnt a reflection on Miguel. More

I have been a faithful Honda owner. The service at first was exceptional and my car has performed great but now that it has 300+ Km's on it and the warranty has runout, the service has The service at first was exceptional and my car has performed great but now that it has 300+ Km's on it and the warranty has runout, the service has been terrible. There is no such thing as an "appointment", they always have to keep it all day. I recently brought it in at 9AM and by the time I received a call from someone to let me know I could pick it up, I was already on the way home with my car. To make it worse I paid a significant amount for work that didn't need to be done. I was told the issues with my car starting may be the battery so I paid for them to service the battery. Yesterday morning it would not start and I had it towed to Master Mechanic instead of the dealership. Turns out it was the starter. Very disappointed. I am not certain my next car will be another Honda. More

Consistently the worst service. Staff are extremely rude. I have been here for service approximately 3-4 times and have had very poor experiences each time.
