Hello Ms. Wideman, thank you for your review. 2 managers have been out of the country for 10 days at a dealer meeting, and we must sincerely apologize for the delay in response. The first car you were interested in was simply broken internal communication on our part, and was (unintentionally) poor customer service, because one manager apparently thought the original buyer could not be financed, and forwarded this information to your salesperson. The original buyer of the first car instead took measures to get financing, and was unaware that the deal was ever thought to be dead from their perspective. In the end, we quite simply miscommunicated internally, and have changed our process to ensure this can't happen again. Sincere apologies, this is a very rare occurrence indeed. Also, your car had been detailed upon delivery, but we agree with you that the quality of the job was not good enough, and would like to offer you a free detail anytime it is convenient for you - complete with a free loaner car for the day. You certainly deserve to have the job done properly. We do want to share some good news as well. Honda changed their cars many years ago to a 'maintenance minder' system that does not use mileage stickers to approximate when the next oil change is due. Back then, oil changes were required every 6000 km. Now, it is much more convenient and affordable. The cars will tell you right in the centre of the dashboard what percentage of oil life you have remaining until you should come in and have it changed. Using better quality oil, while burning cleaner than ever, this often translates into increased intervals of 8000-12,000 km, saving you time and money. Rest assured the re-conditioning on your vehicle was very comprehensive. Your oil was indeed changed with fresh oil, your transmission fluid was changed, your front and rear brakes were serviced, and new tires were put on your car. We truly believe that the second car you ended up purchasing represented a value equal to or better than the first one, and did not have impact damage on it like the first one did with the rocker panel damage. Again sincerest apologies for the miscommunication and the car not being as clean as it should have been, we'd like to fix this for you.
