Bought a recommended vehicle — engine issue and warning light in 2 days In June 2024, I bought a used vehicle at Westwood Honda based on a recommendation from one of their sales managers. The car was pres light in 2 days In June 2024, I bought a used vehicle at Westwood Honda based on a recommendation from one of their sales managers. The car was presented as a great option and was in good condition according to them. However, within just two days, the engine began making loud noises, and a warning light appeared on the dashboard. I was disappointed and concerned about the reliability of the vehicle I had just financed. Thankfully, they offered a 7-day exchange policy, which I decided to use. But things only got more confusing after that. And later I lost a lot of money for the first car, i can change but I will lost a lot of money by this offer change in 7 days, they don’t say about this nothing Thank you for your response, but I must clarify that your statement does not reflect what actually happened. 1. My first contract from June 5, 2024 clearly shows that I paid $4,000 as a down payment, and the rest was financed. The total cost was $37,445.26 (see attached screenshot). 2. After 7 days, I used your exchange policy and switched the vehicle. However, the second contract from June 12, 2024 was issued for the full amount of $41,232.56, and my $4,000 down payment was not applied (see second screenshot). 3. Additionally, the screenshots show that I paid for insurance twice — for both the first and second vehicles — and in the end lost money, because none of these amounts were fully refunded. 4. I only received $2,008 after 9 months when I come to you with this question, without any written explanation or breakdown, despite several requests. I believed that my down payment would be applied and that I would not lose money using your exchange policy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I kindly ask for a written and detailed breakdown, including: • how the $39,578.56 was calculated, • how my $4,000 down payment was handled, • what exactly the $2,008 refund covers, • and why insurance was charged twice. Anyone can see the attached screenshots and verify for themselves if your explanation is accurate. I want transparency, not just general statements. More
