I had been in contact with a sales person for several days via text, email and phone. We had wanted to lease a 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid, and had a trade in. We had done a pre approval for a lease before we went into the dealership, and had high hopes to walk out with the vehicle that we wanted. When we arrived, we were seated in a small office. Our sales rep was 20 minutes late to see us, as he was not told we were there. In these 20 minutes, my husband and I listened to 2 associates and a manager banter back and forth about inappropriate things, swear, and completely ignore all the customers. Once our sales associate finally came to meet us, he had the wrong vehicle approved, didn’t make it a lease as asked, and forgot to add in our trade in. He really had no idea what he was doing, and had to keep checking in with management as he couldn’t answer any of our questions. He then threw Hyundai Canada under the bus for having a different price listed for the vehicle that we wanted, and bashed a different Hyundai dealership when we compared the numbers. So….he had the wrong vehicle, for the wrong price, with the wrong financing in place. I would NEVER go back to this dealership as the staff I encountered all seemed incompetent. More

West Edmonton Hyundai is hands down the most corrupt dealership with business model based on defrauding unsuspecting customers. I went to see Venue, Preferred trim on a 48 months lease with 3000 down. The " Manager" took 15 minutes to "crunch the numbers" and I was given the figure of $203 biweekly which included some accessory package and delivery charges. I asked for the quote without any package and was quoted $195. I asked for price of block heater and was quoted 450. I had already done my homework using Hyundai Canada official website. The buweekly payment came out $144 and block heater at 330 including installation. When I confronted the salesperson, first he tried to further fool me with coming up with false statements and then when he realized that I had done my homework very thoroughly, he simply stated that will you buy it if I match the figure from Hyundai Canada website. Ofcourse I refused to give my business to such pathetic folks. I HAVE IRREFUTABLE PROOF OF THEIR DEALINGS AND ATTEMPTS TO CHEAT AND DEFRAUD. I WILL MAKE THE EVIDENCE AVAILABLE ON THIS REVIEW AND ALSO NAME SOME NAMES IN A DAY OR TWO AS THESE LOSERS DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO APOLOGIZE. One of the sales supervisors lied that it was a dummy camera fixed on the car even though the backup camera was mentioned as part of the car's fearures during the inspection. I had to take the car to a KIA dealership and discovered that the camera just to be fixed which I did at my cost. I got two reminder calls yesterday, after setting up an appointment to get a new keyfob programmed, only for me to get here and be told that it could not be done. The communication chain there is completely broken and service delivery is so poor. The customer service guy I spoke with this morning was so placid and unempathetic at all. I've had one issue or the other to deal with since I got this car from them and it's been a journey of pain. Please avoid them if you can. More
