Great experience buying new from this dealership. The staff were excellent ! I have had a couple small hiccups along the way in which everyone at the dealership involved have been very accomodating. I have been a GM patron for many years and even have family that work at a GM dealership and so far do not regret moving away from familiarity into foreign territory. I am giving the highest rating I can to this dealership because of the friendly and knowledgeable service I have recieved from the above mentioned employees. We were looking for a new vehicle to fit our ch because of the friendly and knowledgeable service I have recieved from the above mentioned employees. We were looking for a new vehicle to fit our changing needs and Richard Lam was very instrumental in finding what I feel is the perfect vehicle for our retirement years.Along with Aaron Ratsoy they both provided the best car buying experience we have enjoyed in our entire life time. (we have dealt with very many dealerships over the years). High praise also to Diane and Scott for quick and efficient handling of the paper work involved.I am very proud to say I will highly recommend this dealership and the above mentioned employees to everyone. We had been looking for a new car for a little while, looking at the Audi A4 and also the infiniti G37X, but we were not decided, until we saw the new Genesis coupe GT 3.8 2013 at a dealership close by, looking at the Audi A4 and also the infiniti G37X, but we were not decided, until we saw the new Genesis coupe GT 3.8 2013 at a dealership close by, but the car was already sold, we made several calls to different dealership and even called outside of the province, I had made a call 10 days before at West Edmonton Hyundai to know if they had one, and also I mention to Alan the color we were looking for, but unfortunately like all the other dealership there was none available. To our surprise we received a call from Alan 10 days after the initial call to let us know he had a car for us, this car could have been easily sold to any local person, but to our surprised and delight Alan remembered us from the earlier call, with the exact car and color we wanted, within an hour we purchase the car over the phone, we picked our new car 2 days later on May 31st, when we enter the dealership, everyone we meet at the dealership made us feel like winner, which we already felt from having such a beautiful car. Alan is a total professional and provided us with a thorough explanation of all the options on our new Genesis. He took us step by step from test drive, financial affairs to registration of our new car. He is a true gentleman and made our purchase a very pleasant experience. My experience with them has been terrible. We went to look for a new car and liked one that we saw. So they said we can put a deposit and do a credit app which we did. Firstly, there was another car in our price range that wasn't even offered to us BECAUSE they didn't have any in stock, even though it was almost exactly what we were looking for. Ok, shady but not enough for a bad review I am giving them. Well, we then decided that we didn't want to go ahead and purchase the car after all and that is where the problems started. They said that our deposit was not refundable. So now, no car, no money even though they said that if we wanted to back out of the deal we could. So explained our situation to AMVIC, they said it was a civil matter and to sue them, so much for AMVIC protecting consumers. BTW, they are screwing me out of a deposit for a car they had on their lot. So buyer beware. Went to SouthTown and they said that they would refund deposits. So make sure you understand there business practices before agreeing to anything with these guys. 2 epic thumbs down from me. More
After having the vehicle for only three months, I took my vehicle to KIA service department, I mentioned that the light for the back window would come on and stay on, also there was a rattling noise from rea vehicle to KIA service department, I mentioned that the light for the back window would come on and stay on, also there was a rattling noise from rear of vehicle when driving, there was unusual pulling/lurching feeling when braking. I was told that I needed new brakes. I was not a happy camper. I told them that I did not want it done till I talked to the salesman that sold me the car. After I spoke to Tom Peters the salesman, he suggested that I talked to Jeff at Hyundai, I did and we went for a drive, he told me that the driveshaft needed to be lubed. I went back to Kia and a mechanic came with me for a drive, he said the same thing as Jeff. They had a opening, took it right in. I did not have to pay $700.00 dollars for something I did not need. It did not cost me anything. Also the light on the dash and the rattlilng noise was not there anylonger, a piece of rubber was the cause of the light on the dash and the rattleling noise. I felt very comfortable at the dealership, no pressure at all! Which is pretty rare. Usually I'm scared to walk into a dealership because I think I'll be forced into something I don't need or what, but Richa all! Which is pretty rare. Usually I'm scared to walk into a dealership because I think I'll be forced into something I don't need or what, but Richard was incredibly friendly, professional and honest right from the get-go. All of the finance managers were very personable and honest, easy to get along with, and walked me through everything I was signing (and NOT signing). Even the staff look like they enjoy the environment and each other's company! Looks like a great place to work. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars! More
