I booked my car in for a GPS update. I was very clear with what I wanted and yet after the car had been dropped off for service, was told they don’t provide this type of service!!! Wha I was very clear with what I wanted and yet after the car had been dropped off for service, was told they don’t provide this type of service!!! What made it all the more frustrating was that I had booked this appointment over a week in advance and had a trip coming up, so needed an updated GPS system. This was all explained at the time of booking. When I was told that I would need to order the update and install it myself, there was not enough time to do it before my trip although there would have been, had I been told at the time of my initial call, this was not a service they provided. How is it that they are booking services they don’t provide? I spoke with several people as I received emails and texts confirming my appointment and I wanted to ensure I could drop my vehicle the evening before. Even when I dropped the vehicle off, I filled out a form explaining why it was there and talked to someone at the front desk about the GPS update. Still, not one person mentioned that this wasn’t something they could do! If you’re going to hire people to book appointments for service, they should have knowledge of which services are available! This isn’t rocket science. I have lost faith in this location and will not use it again! More

(ESPECIALLY FIRST TIME BUYERS) After reading through all the 1-star reviews, I can confidently confirm that all of those experiences are true and the professionalism and customer service at Waterloo Honda are out the door. It's so disappointing and sad to see how many people have gotten screwed over by them. Our current experience is very similar to what others have dealt and I wish I read the reviews first before stepping foot at the dealership. There is no form of transparency whatsoever. Before considering ANY used vehicle at this dealership please note that the APR is at a ridiculous 9.99% which they decide not to display on Auto Trader because it is higher than most if not ALL the dealerships in this city. The salesman, Konal went to such an extent to pressure us into a deal that sounded too good to be true, which it was. We went back and forth with him, telling him multiple times that we wanted to think about our decision and sleep on it. He then proceeded and pushed telling us "What is there to think about?", "You're getting a good deal!" "What can I do to earn your business today?" This led to a very pressured decision for us to sign a purchase agreement, which is 100% my fault to fall for this foolishness. The financial manager, Kourtney rushed the whole process of explaining the paperwork and attempted to sell us on multiple warranties that would increase the purchase total significantly. She then mentioned a rust protection warranty that was left as a credit from the previous owner, which seemed like a good idea of course, so I accepted it not realizing this "credit" increased the total price by almost $2000. (Not sure how this is a "credit" at all.) We left this dealership feeling uncomfortable and confused. After a couple of days to look over the paperwork thoroughly, it was completely different from what we discussed. We had a $1000 deposit on the vehicle and tried to back out of this deal as soon as we realized all the xx, and they made it EXTREMELY difficult to do so. Called multiple times, but either no answer or was sent straight to a voicemail. Texted Konal but STILL proceeds to tell me "It cost a lot of money to get the vehicle ready for you so let me know when you want to pick up the vehicle." STILL attempting to pressure us into taking this vehicle we don't want and doing business with this dealership. After sending multiple emails to multiple people I was finally able to meet and speak with the sales manager Bryan. After summarizing our situation, he went through canceling the purchase agreement with us which overall, was a straightforward process. Bryan explained to us that the vehicle cost almost $4000 so a reasonable solution to get out of this would be to keep our deposit of $1000. We accepted. From a customer service point of view, this dealership will do ANYTHING to get every single penny from customers. Yes, keeping our $1000 deposit sounds fair. But will I recommend this dealership to anybody on this planet? NO. Will I ever look at a vehicle ad posted by Waterloo Honda again? NO. Would I recommend staying AWAY from this dealership? YES. More
I visited the dealership today with my family to look at the inventory and as we were walking through the lot we passed by a group of Waterloo Honda employees who were standing and talking. In one moment on the inventory and as we were walking through the lot we passed by a group of Waterloo Honda employees who were standing and talking. In one moment one of the employees called another employee a "xxx" and was mocking the employee as others stood by and watched. Thankfully I was able to search their website and found that the gentleman who thinks bulling and humiliating someone because of their sexual orientation by hurling homophobic slurs is fun goes by the name of Nick Tilk. Needless to say in this day and age such behavior should not be tolerated especially by a company such as Honda. I do not know the cooperate structure of Honda Canada or how the dealership fits into that landscape but I will be escalating this further past this initial review as this type of behavior is not acceptable. I hope Waterloo Honda takes this matter seriously and takes appropriate steps to not allow this individual to cast a dark cloud over the entire corporation. More
Kourtney Pfeiler forced me to buy so many unnecessary extras and kept adding things to the car and then just shoving papers at me to sign. I had 11k worth of equity transferred from a previous vehicle an extras and kept adding things to the car and then just shoving papers at me to sign. I had 11k worth of equity transferred from a previous vehicle and she built the sale to ensure she took back every penny of that equity. When trying to cancel some of those extras, they made me feel like I was a burden to them. They sold me a gold package for rust protection for over 2k after I specifically declined. At pick-up it was already done. I felt the obligation to accept the package. Maybe there are others in there that are better, but you have to push back very hard if you don't want to be taken advantage of like I was. More
I am very pleased with the purchase of my pre-owned Honda CRV-EX-L 2020. Damir Protudjer, my sales agent showed his talents as a good listener, knowledgeable expert of his inventory, agile multitasker, and nimble pivoter when my priorities shifted throughout a four hour sales process. My question why dealerships prefer in-house financing arrangements did not receive an up front response. I would have liked a more straightforward/transparent answer to what charges are a must and which are optional. My personal car mechanic assured me (backed by Consumer Report) that 50% of car users never use their extended warranty. Anna-Maria. More
