He didn’t pressure us unlike the other dealership we were at prior the Vicar. I looked at the other comments and I can say we weren’t treated badly. With this experience I would recommend them but I would tell them to seek out Darren More
I had a great experience working with Darren. I came in with a budget and an idea of what I was looking for; there was no dancing around or pressure on the sales floor. Darren sat quietly during the test with a budget and an idea of what I was looking for; there was no dancing around or pressure on the sales floor. Darren sat quietly during the test drive and allowed me time to feel how the vehicle handled. When I asked him about the features, he was straight to the point and didn't try to make a sales pitch, just gave the facts - which is really the proper way to sell! The final price was the price we agreed upon on the floor. Next time I'm in the market, I will make sure to stop in at Nissan again. More
False promises I came to buy a car and after I bought the promises were gone. They made me wait for 1:30 just to tell me their promises were complete fabricated and I came to buy a car and after I bought the promises were gone. They made me wait for 1:30 just to tell me their promises were complete fabricated and fraudulent. I would not recommend even for my worst enemies, I would rather recommend death. More
Hosed by the dealership I have purchased 3 vehicles with them and since they changed to Vicker, everything has gone down hill. 3 vehicles all with extended warranty. Most rec I have purchased 3 vehicles with them and since they changed to Vicker, everything has gone down hill. 3 vehicles all with extended warranty. Most recently we were on a road trip with our Rogue and the AC started just to spill water all over the floors and just shoot vapour. We got back into the city and took it to the dealership. We were just over our REGULAR KM warranty and well within the extended warranty they wouldn't do it. They charged us $700 to replace the climate controls. Problem still persists so we find out from somewhere else the issues is as simple as a clogged drain! Hosed by the dealership for $700 on an easy fix anywhere else. Calls don't get returned ,messages are ignored. Just a joke. Go elsewhere and save yourself the Hassel. More
Shady dealer My daughter was buying a used SUV from this dealer. We went on a Saturday and because we didn't have time to finish the deal we made an offer and left a deposit. My daughter left on a trip the following Monday and they said that we could finish the deal 10 days later on a Tuesday. We returned with offer sheet in hand, to be told that they had sold the car to another person, due to a clerical error???? Got a very hollow apology from a Shayne ( sales manager) with the promise that they felt terrible and they would make it up to her. Long story short we found another car for $5000.00 more and the best they did was $700.00 off the price and that included the trade in. Guess they didn't feel that bad. More
Bad service Went to dealership for oil change. I mentioned that the brakes is making awfuk sounds and the technician agreed that it should be checked. I went back Went to dealership for oil change. I mentioned that the brakes is making awfuk sounds and the technician agreed that it should be checked. I went back after booking an appointment , then I specifically ask to have a shuttle service. 2.5 hours later. No service was provided. I ended up taking the half day off work. Then the report came in and everyhting is normal... ffs, I just have to live with it. Squeaking brakes all day. Everyday. Wow More
Didn't respect my wife or budget Very unhelpful dealership. We came in with a set budget and although it was on the lower side they said they'd be able to find something. In person th Very unhelpful dealership. We came in with a set budget and although it was on the lower side they said they'd be able to find something. In person they said it wouldn't be as easy to find something because they thought we'd said biweekly when we had clearly said monthly. They found a car to show us and before we got too invested we asked if it was within our budget and wanted to talk about cost. The salesman said it was and we fell in love with the car. It was used but we liked it. Until it came time to talk finances finally and they wanted biweekly what they knew we had wanted monthly. And they didn't even acknowledge that it was higher than what we asked for. They would barely budge on the price and then when they saw we weren't going to say yes they tried to sell us on a much worse car but we'd already been there for a long time so we left. The manager talked to my wife on the phone about it and would kind of say it's not their fault and was kind of rude. To top it all off after talking to multiple sales people none of them acknowledged my wife was even there. Only taking to me until it was time to get her license for the test drive where they finally asked for her name. But from the beginning they shook my hand and introduced themselves and talked only to me. The manager claimed that this was a mistake since their policy is to "always address women and children first" which seems only moderately better. We ended up buying a better version of that car for less at another dealership anyway. Which was good. More
Sexist and didn't follow instructions #1: My husband and I went in and met with the person we had called to book an appointment with. He was busy with a previous customer, so he set us up with another salesperson. The first one only briefly talked to us, but only introduced himself to my husband and ignored that I was there. The second person who we worked with for about an hour didn't introduce himself to me until about 20 minutes in when he realized that I was going to be making this decision. Then all of a sudden he introduced himself and asked my name. I was NOT happy having been ignored as if I wasn't even there. It's not even that my husband knows more about vehicles than I do, we know the same amount. #2: We had gone over the down payment we had, the monthly payments we wanted to make, and what features we were flexible with to meet that budget. We were given a vehicle to test drive, and told all the features and really liked the car. Before the test drive we asked about the cost and were told "we'll talk about finances after we go over the features". Knowing that we had said what we wanted to pay, we thought that was taken into consideration when giving us this vehicle to check out. We were ready to go inside and make the purchase, even though I wasn't happy with the service received, and were given the quote paper. It was almost DOUBLE the payments we had asked for. They wouldn't move the price down, and wanted to show us other cars. Now we had wasted an hour and a half of our Saturday to leave with absolutely nothing, because they didn't follow the instructions we gave them as far as price. We were not happy and we left. Will not be paying upwards of $20,000 to someone who can't recognize me as a person or follow basic guidelines. More
Scammers If you’re looking for the scamming lying and willing to help you and just want money type dealership you’ve found the one, went to finance office and If you’re looking for the scamming lying and willing to help you and just want money type dealership you’ve found the one, went to finance office and the bank was asking for an extra 1k for DP I couldn’t meet those terms so they decided to keep my 2k deposit, my only two options were to buy the car or leave it and they take my 2k I didn’t sign any papers saying it was not refundable, did not sign a bill of sale nothing, so the gm tells me if he can’t get me to be the primary owner he’ll give my money back but if he can then I have to buy the car, calls me few days after saying I was approved to be the primary owner, without telling me they set me up for an in-house finance, I couldn’t even deal with them anymore so I just ended up financing the car through them, WORST experience do not come to this dealership More
Please Don't Pressure us to Buy a Car. My mother and I planned to look and test out vehicles at Vickar Nissan as her car was no longer functional. However, we had no intention of purchasing My mother and I planned to look and test out vehicles at Vickar Nissan as her car was no longer functional. However, we had no intention of purchasing a vehicle that day because we were unsure of the type of vehicle our family needed and it was our very first day testing out cars. The salesman answered all our questions regarding the vehicle and took us out for a test drive. We told the salesman that the car was great, which was not a lie, but we also had to really think about it and get back to him. Financing a brand new vehicle is a commitment, especially when money is tight and we did not want to buy the first vehicle we test drove. Although he said he "understood", we felt that he was pressuring us to buy the vehicle. He asked us "What else is there to think about if the car has what you want?", I then AGAIN explained our financial situation (sigh). Just when I thought I got through to the salesman, he introduces us to his manager "in case" we come back and he was not there. The manager was trying to throw in some deals to get us to purchase the vehicle, which did not match the deals that the salesman was offering, and we got the feeling that the salesman should not have been offering them. For the third time, I had to explain to them in a more assertive manner that we had to think about the decision to purchase the vehicle and that we would get back to them... We never came back! I get it, we all have to make money and this is their job but pressuring people to buy a car is just rude and unprofessional. More
