Had my vehicle towed there under factory roadside assistance. Spoke with a service representative that day, I explained the problem to them, possible parasitic drain, more likely a not fully charged assistance. Was told that it would be looked at the next business day, well I guess they take 4 day weekends here... never got a call back anytime they said they would, I tried to call the service manager, got 3.5 rings in and got cut to voice mail, left a message explaining the situation, then waited a bit and called again, got 4 rings in before getting cut to voicemail. News flash Ryan, it's painfully obvious when you ignore a call, just let it ring or set something up to send calls straight to voicemail. I finally get ahold of a service writer who tells me my issue is not covered under warranty, OK thank you, finally someone who can be honest and upfront, I guess we all make mistakes from time to time. I say OK I'll be there to pick up my vehicle in a bit, as I'm getting my kids ready, I get get a call back saying they tried to boost my vehicle to get it inside and ready for me to pick up. Apparently according to them a starter problem had appeared and now the work might be covered under warranty.... do I want them to look at it now?? Hells no do I want these 5th rate clowns touching my vehicle any more, I say no I'll be there in a bit to get it. Now the fun starts people, I walk in and am the only customer in the service area, there is a group of around 6 mechanics and 4 service writers around a desk, having a jolly good time, I stood there, with my hands in my pockets, for about 5 minutes before someone asked me if I had been helped. Blah blah blah, got my keys, asked them if they had a portable boosting pack i could use as it's easier than the jumper cables I brought. They said sure, they would send out a mechanic to help me, the guy they sent out said he was there for 5 years, he popped the boost pack on and said OK give it a try.... I said mmm'kay and gave it a try, obviously nothing happened, I told him that maybe we should let it sit and charge for a few minutes between start attempts, he seemed surprised but agreeable to my crazy witchcraft idea, I mean I may as well have asked him to dance around and sacrifice a goat with the way he reacted. As it's charging up, this other mechanic comes out, she proceeded to parking lot diagnose the issue as a blown fuse, as she admitted to doing a time or two... OMG I can't even begin to explain the fail here, I am not a certified automotive mechanic, but I have been fixing trains for the past 10 years, so I thanked the two "techs" for their time, hooked up the booster cables, let it get some juice (I watched the volt guage creep up) and started that sucker up right away. I ask you potential customers, if the only way you can make money is by misdiagnosis, would this situation make less sense?? TL/DR Don't go here, ever, for any reason. Signed A lost customer More

I purchased my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek in July, 2021...In October, while prepping for winter, I'm looking for the blockheater cord...NO BLOCK HEATER!! NO BLOCK HEATER TO A VEHICLE SOLD IN MANITOBA!!!! Today - Jan 5, 2022, I am on phone with Jim Pattison Subaru South regarding a high pitch noise inside of car (which I have been hearing for a few months) - and then was advised there are two outstanding recalls on my car...WHY WOULD VICKAR CHEVROLET NOT ADDRESS THESE TWO RECALLS??!! WHY WOULD VICKAR SELL ME A CAR WITH TWO OUTSTANDING RECALLS??!!...SHAME SHAME SHAME! P.P. More
I had an overall good experience when ordering my 2021 Stingray what I wasn't impressed with is when the car only came which I don't believe was the dealerships fault but was there something they could ha Stingray what I wasn't impressed with is when the car only came which I don't believe was the dealerships fault but was there something they could have done to speed it up?. it was 3 months late as it was built sitting waiting for delivery in July and i only got the car early October. No one had know idea why it was taking so long. when it did arrive it had damage which was very disappointing to say the least Devin in sales whom I was dealing with figured this must be why it took so long to ship. So yes the car had damage so they will fix the car in the spring as they gave me the option to take delivery right away maybe get a few weeks of driving in. they offered that I could leave the car and order another in the spring. For what to wait all summer again to get my Car. Why couldn't they get this expedited to get it here and fixed up? I was rushed to pick up the car it felt not enough time. I had asked if i could take some of the plastic off on the interior seats and screens, steering wheel as they needed to do the inspection as i was coming that day. When I arrived all plastics had been removed in the interior which was a little disappointing on my first new Vette. top it off the transparent roof top I ordered had scratches in it as well which i only noticed a few weeks after when i decided to switch roof tops. so all this has to be dealt with now next spring.. I guess i will right another review after the Stingray gets repaired. Hopefully to my satisfaction. Hopefully they can fix the transparent roof top scratches if not i hope the dealership honours me a new one! More
I was very pleased with all of the service, I live in Thunder bay and couldn't find the vehicle I wanted at any lots around our city nor did any of the sales people even try and look elsewhere, not to me Thunder bay and couldn't find the vehicle I wanted at any lots around our city nor did any of the sales people even try and look elsewhere, not to mention I was offered $1100 for my trade in, where as with Vickar, not only did I receive 5 times that amount, my Jeep was brought to thunder bay and my car taken bac. The whole process from start to the time it was delivered was a little over a week, exceptionally fast as well as the intertest rate i received was nearly 4% lower than was offered in Thunder Bay. It has only been a few days with the new vehicle but as long as it keeps running the way it is, I have absolutely no issues with this dealership. More
