I traveled from out of province for a truck, I live several hours from the location so I had to take the salesmen’s word on a lot of things. When I got there it wasn’t what it was cracked up to be. But the sales manager over sold the truck. Lying about several details. I was still very interested in the vehicle without him lying about it. But hey that’s a cars salesman right. The sales person I dealt with was friendly and fairly honest for his experience, no complaints about him. I still feel I got the vehicle at a reasonable price. But I feel like I was lied to by the sales manager. Truck was also very dirty. Had to have it detailed once I got home. Overall. So far I’m Happy with the truck. I would have some trouble recommending the dealership due to the fact of the following reasons, it was not disclosed to me during the negotiations that road hazard service would be a charge of 1900+ dollars, to the fact of the following reasons, it was not disclosed to me during the negotiations that road hazard service would be a charge of 1900+ dollars, due to my carelessness and not reviewing the contract clearly I was charged for that service which most new tires have a road hazard warranty attached to them. Also, I wasn’t given the opportunity to get a quick tour of their service department, which I feel should be part of the process. Also, when poor weather conditions are upon us, I feel that they should have an area for you where it is climate control to do a vehicle inspection prior to purchase. None of those items were presented to me, which I feel should be part of their service regarding the service person I dealt with he was pleasant, but didn’t do full disclosure regarding the tire road hazard cost.
