Painless Oil Change Experience Arrived 15 minutes early for my oil change appointment at Vickar Chevrolet on Regent. Graham met me in the oil change facility and showed me the way t Arrived 15 minutes early for my oil change appointment at Vickar Chevrolet on Regent. Graham met me in the oil change facility and showed me the way to the waiting room and proceeded to get the pertinent information from my vehicle and get the work order made up. Graham noticed that I had never had my tires rotated and suggested it was time with 25,000km the on them. As the technicians were doing the 15 point inspection found the engine and cabin filters where in need of replacing. Graham kept me informed of the progress of the service being completed on my vehicle and had the work completed in approximately 30 minutes. Lack of Service progress The service department did not provide me with the service progress. My appointment was for 8:30 am, however, the issue wasn’t looked at until 1:30. T The service department did not provide me with the service progress. My appointment was for 8:30 am, however, the issue wasn’t looked at until 1:30. The salesman, who sold me the vehicle, saw me waiting for my vehicle and took it upon himself to check on the progress and told me that there was only one serviceman to fix my vehicle and that it was going to be another 2 hours before it was looked at. He arranged for me to have a loaner vehicle A’s I’d already been waiting for 3 hours. Had I been told that the vehicle wouldn’t be looked at until the afternoon, I would have made other arrangements. Kudos to the salesman for doing more than just sales...he looked after the customer. I will be returning as something needs to be re-set, according to the person who did a telephone survey earlier this afternoon. More
