BUYER BEWARE: Unfair Warranty Practices at Vernon Toyota ⚠️ ​I want to share a incredibly frustrating experience my mom, Liz, just had with this dealership to warn others before they buy a used vehicle h ⚠️ ​I want to share a incredibly frustrating experience my mom, Liz, just had with this dealership to warn others before they buy a used vehicle here. ​At the end of April, she purchased a used Toyota RAV4, feeling safe and assured by their 3-month/3,000 km warranty. ​Unfortunately, after driving it for just one week, the vehicle started making a loud vibration noise. She thought it sas probably something minor however she called the dealership to get it looked at, but they told her they couldn't fit her in for an inspection for several weeks. ​When they finally took the vehicle in, they diagnosed a faulty torque converter—a massive $5,000 repair (why was this not caught before selling ?) ​To make matters worse, the dealership is now refusing to cover the cost under warranty because she is 500 km over the mileage limit. She was well within the mileage limit when she first reported the issue, but because of their scheduling delays, they are wiping their hands of it. ​After already spending thousands of dollars on a used SUV, she is now on the hook for a $5,000 bill. It is crystal clear that this dealership only cares about you until they get your money. ​Please think twice before buying a used vehicle here. They do not stand behind their warranties or their customers! More

This dealership sucks when it comes to the sales department. I tried to buy a new Toyota Rav Ltd from this dealership in 2022 - had to go to Kelowna to buy it as these salespeople were having too mu department. I tried to buy a new Toyota Rav Ltd from this dealership in 2022 - had to go to Kelowna to buy it as these salespeople were having too much fun in one of the sales offices. No time for new business. Same thing happened in 2025 - I went to Kelowna again and bought a new Lexus. Again in 2026, I requested that a salesperson call me when the new 2026 Ravs were available for viewing. Again no phone call - yet Kelowna had these vehicles on display. Maybe these salespeople judge you by what you wear. Wrong call here as I could buy this dealership. A one star is being generous. The service team could do a better job handling customer complaints/feedback. The service manager was not interested in hearing me out instead he gladly gave me my car back without fixing it after 3 hours a complaints/feedback.
