I brought my 2013 Dart in for service to Unique Chrysler Dodge Jeep yesterday for an oil change, and to have them fix my passenger sun visor which I discovered was broken the first time I used it. The Oil Dodge Jeep yesterday for an oil change, and to have them fix my passenger sun visor which I discovered was broken the first time I used it. The Oil Change Due indicator came on. First, I was not provided with a quote for the work they did. I expected an oil change to be ~$50, and this one was over $130. I spoke to the service manager about this, and he said they don't provide quotes for anything under $45. I can't even begin to understand the logic behind that statement, could you please clarify it as he was unable to. Second, I let them know that I was working till 4:30pm, and to call me when my car was ready. My car was ready at around 1:03pm, and I had to call them at 4:05pm asking if it was ready. I then had to request they dispatch their shuttle driver, who took about 40 minutes to arrive. It is completely unacceptable that a company trying to get my business is unable and unwilling to do something so simple as call their customer when asked to do so! When I questioned the service Manager about this, he said "My apologies." I expected to hear some reason for me to come back there, or that there was a fire and no one could pick up the phone all freakin afternoon. I got nothing of the sort. Third, I was made to sign an acknowledgement before they would release my car back to me that said I had been provided with an estimate before they did any work. This was absolutely a lie, and when I questioned the Service Manager about this, he told me they can't print the receipt without this disclaimer. Fourth, there's a "Document storage fee" charge on my bill for $0.99, what the xxxx is that?? Fifth, for the "Under Vehicle Checkup" they have marked "Not Applicable" for all of my brake pads and for my spare tire. I didn't realize that I wasn't provided with either brake pads or a spare tire. Sixth, no one addressed the issue of the defective sun visor. When I bring my car in to a Chrysler dealership, do your people only work on the issues they feel like working on at the time? Now I have to have a sun visor flapping around in the wind, blocking my view to the right, and distracting my driving. Seventh, the "Oil change due" sticker your dealer put on my car indicates that I should bring it back to them in about 5000km, or three months. This is 494 km more than the owners manual suggests I bring it in for the FIRST oil change. What is the correct oil change interval for this car, using this synthetic oil?? Is the manual printed wrong? Why was I not informed of this massive change in oil change intervals and oil life??? Eighth, the invoice indicates that the tire pressure it to be checked. However the indicator in the dashboard says that the tire pressure is different on all four tires. Is the indicator broken, or were the tires not inflated correctly? Is there any danger to myself or is the car unsafe to drive?? This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. It has me seriously reconsidering my purchase of this vehicle. More

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their vehicles. They kept us up-to-date on exactly what was going on with the vehicle, when it would be ready, and when we would be able to pic about their vehicles. Not only was David Netherton remarkably helpful in finding us the two perfect Jeeps on the lot that fit our needs, he did it all over the phone! When we drove the 150 km from our home to the dealership, everything went very smoothly and we were able to drive away in our new vehicles with a minimum of fuss. The best part though, was after we left the lot. Due to my own stupid mistake, I thought something was VERY wrong with my new Jeep. I called the team at Unique Chrysler, and they went above and beyond in listening to my concerns and made every effort to make things right. Both my husband and I were beyond impressed with the level of service, attention and care they provided. We have purchased our last four vehicles from Unique Chrysler -- the first two when we lived in Toronto, and the next two when we lived 1.5 hours away. The inconvenience of having to drive so far away is incredibly minor when compared against the attention to detail, the level of care, and the over-and-above attitude displayed by everyone on Unique Chrysler's staff. Thank you to Unique Chrysler for making our entire experience not only great, but full of the WOW factor.
