As usual, Turpin Auto World was wonderful for us. Last week and this week, We had occasion to have some minor/major repairs done on our 2002 Montana. Frank provided seamless delivery of getting us in for the repairs; and, he (with the shuttle service provided - thank you to both drivers!) made sure that we were shuttled home and back for the pick up of the repaired vehicle. Mark made sure that the vehicle was diligently repaired in a timely, and professional fashion. It is wonderful to know that there are those that truly can be counted on!. I have been going to this dealership (Laperriere Location - sorry if misspelled) for over 10 years for my Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 2002. I have never experienced honest, exceptional and accommodating service - sorry if misspelled) for over 10 years for my Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 2002. I have never experienced honest, exceptional and accommodating service like this before and I have dealt with VW, Honda and Toyota prior to my Pontiac. I am sad to see it go as I believe Pontiac had great cars. There have been a few times when I needed some service done promptly and they have always accommodated me (not sure of the Service Managers name but he was beyond exceptional and recognized my patronage) in order to get the work done. This was my first time buying a vehicle from Turpin and it will most likely not be the last time. It all starting with me finding an SUV on their lot that I had been looking for a while. I called them at 7 it will most likely not be the last time. It all starting with me finding an SUV on their lot that I had been looking for a while. I called them at 7:25 pm on a Monday night and was told that they were closing at 8 pm. They told me that they would wait for me even if I was leaving from Orleans to test drive the SUV. I was very impressed with Peter Lafreniere's no hassle and honest approach. During the negotiation process, I found Peter to be very helpful and informative. We went over the vehicle's information and history in great detail before exploring the financing options. The price of the vehicle that I purchased (2008 Yukon) was very competitive, so much so that two sales rep from other dealerships in Ottawa told me to buy it since they would not be able to match it. They were also fair with the trade-in value of my previous SUV. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Peter and Turpin to friends and family. I have also been very impressed by their after sale customer service. I had one issue with the Yukon and Marc Gervais was very helpful in fixing the problem. I must admit that the complimentary car wash is a nice perk. Thank you Peter and Marc. See you soon. Martin More
My Chev Malibu was serviced to my satisfaction but on paying my bill, i was informed that an oil leak had been detected and I should bring the car back in for another $110 inspection very quickly as the paying my bill, i was informed that an oil leak had been detected and I should bring the car back in for another $110 inspection very quickly as the engine could seize and be very damaging & costly. I felt that this fact should have been printed out on my bill. However as I explained to Chris the car is under warranty and in fact Myers where I purchased the car did such a repair on the engine this past March 2011. I'll be taking my Malibu back to Myers tomorrow for servicing. My previous experience this past March, had the oil pressure guage flucuating and showing empty but no such indication appeared this past week before I brought the Malibu to you for routine servicing. After purchasing my Saturn aura from Turpin in 2008, I have had excellent service and great business relations with them, even after their moving to another location. Peter Lafreniere was most helpful, gave us a good price on our trade and made the Volvo purchase price attractive. He thoroughly explained all of the paper work involved. Given the results of the CARPROOF search, the dealer's 150 point inspection, and some remaining factory warranty we drove away feeling pleased and satisfied. We visited the dealership because they advertised new cars on Autotrader which allowed us to easily see what was in inventory. The initial salesman was friendly and not pushy, answered a few questions and then escorted us to the showroom. Once in the showroom we were greeted by the President (Fern) who we knew. After some discussion we were invited to take the car for a test drive. We were offered the car without escort and told to take it anywhere to get a feel for the car. Once we came back, Marc offered to "run the numbers" for us in a completely casual manner without any pressure. Later that day I emailed Marc questions about warranty costs and options. He responded immediately. The following week we received a dealer incentive discount of $500 in the mail. When we contacted Fern to confirm this discount would be in addition to the previously offered discounts. We were informed that there were now even better manufacturer incentives which would be combined with the previous offer and the $500 dealer incentive. Based on this information, we returned to the dealership, took the car for one more test drive to ensure this was the car for us, and then signed the agreement to purchase. Fern promised to have the car ready for us on the following Tuesday. The car was ready, all the paperwork was completed quickly, and Fern then went over the car with us ensuring all of our questions were answered. And we were on our way. All in all a great buying experience! And a great car! More
