Prior to my visit I phoned the dealer to inquire about the I recently visited Tom Smith Chevrolet in Midland Ontario in order to view a 2001 corvette. Prior to my visit I phoned the dealer to inquire about the car and it's history. My salesman was Kyle Sawyer and through several emails and phone calls we came to an agreement on the price of the car. It was explained to me that while I was the first person to agree to buy the car upon personal inspection that other people were inquiring about the corvette too. I was asked for a nominal deposit to show that I was a serious buyer however I was at a hockey tournament and had no way to accommodate their request however Kyle gave me until the following day to show up and assured me the car was mine upon my inspection. I did in fact show up the next day and purchased a very clean well maintained corvette. There were in fact other clients waiting to see the car too and true to their word they held the car for me. Kyle also went out of his way to gather the cars history as well as helping me solve a few minor issues with the vehicle. The purchase price was very reasonable for the year and make of car and I would not hesitate to recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. The rest of the staff were very friendly and I also had the pleasure of meeting Marcy and dealing with her on the financial logistics of the purchase. Overall a great car buying experience from a professional and friendly dealership and while I live in Toronto I would certainly make my way back to Midland for my next car purchase.
