Never in my life we experienced such a poor customer service and ugly treatment as in this dealership. It started with the lease buyout when their sales person Sergei Zavtur tried to convince our elderl service and ugly treatment as in this dealership. It started with the lease buyout when their sales person Sergei Zavtur tried to convince our elderly father to get into new lease because his 50k km Rav4 is in "poor technical condition" and needs repairs of 2,700 cad. When we checked the car and charged all 4 brakes on original Toyota brakes just for 700 cad, we realized something fishy going on in this dealership. So we came together to that sales person. Once he realized that we are not going to enter into the new lease he just stand up and said "I don't want to waste my precious time on you". I could not believe it. That never happened to me front any sales person. Anyway we asked for other person and we're given Carla (Finance Magager) who said that we have to do a safety which costs 300 cad (!!!) in their dealership. Plus to pay 300 end of lease, licensing and some 49$ carfax fee (what is it for???l). We explained that this is too much for us and after long negotiation when we said we may go to other dealership to close a lease she offered discount to 250.cad. We said we will think and will shop around. Father who is over 70 years old was already exhausted with all that (which should be simple process). So we got to Woodbine Toyota who did a safety for us in the first visit only 149cad and who tried to close a lease. Due to some lock done by Thornhill Toyota they were not able to close it. So we though to take a deep breath and to visit that bad place again. This time Carla said she never permitted us (as we need a permit) to do a safety in other Toyota dealership and they will never accept it! So we had to go to their Sales Manager. His name was Milan. He barely listened to our story (interrupting several times) and then said that he will not change their policy and will not sell our car to us! We didn't hear any sorry for the salesperson and he was aware that this is end of lease for elderly person. He simply does not care about it! We will pursue this story further as people must know about it (omvic and press). Try to avoid taking leases here as they are trying to rip you off. And customer service is really suffering (not sure how they get good reviews - I assume they are paying for that making fake images and posts as meeting 3 people there we can see real level of their customer service) More
Our test drive and purchase experience at Thornhill Toyota was fine. However, once we had the car a week or so we began noticing an order of cigarette smoke. As we started using the A/C the odor became Toyota was fine. However, once we had the car a week or so we began noticing an order of cigarette smoke. As we started using the A/C the odor became very strong. On our own, we tried various deodorizers and cleaners and changed the cabin filter to no avail. I contacted the sales representative who advised that his manager said the file was closed and they would do nothing to help. The sales manager has not returned my voice message. Buyer beware...this dealership used enough of a cleaning agent to mask the smell while they were selling it and won't fix the problem. I won't be returning or recommending Thornhill Toyota in the future. More

I am writing this review with immense disappointment and frustration after my recent experiences at Thornhill Toyota dealership. During a routine oil change appointment, I was approached by one of their emp frustration after my recent experiences at Thornhill Toyota dealership. During a routine oil change appointment, I was approached by one of their employees who suggested additional repairs. However, I declined the proposal as it seemed unnecessary at the time. To my surprise, just 30 minutes later, I received a call from a customer service representative stating that I had two nails in my tires that needed immediate attention. This incident deeply unsettled me because it felt eerily similar to a situation I had encountered five years ago with my previous car when I visited the same dealership for an oil change. Once again, I was informed about having two nails in my tires that required fixing. The persistent repetition of this pattern raises suspicions, leaving me uncertain whether it's an astonishing coincidence or an attempt by someone at the dealership to earn extra money. Although I lack concrete evidence, the consistent occurrence of this issue during my visits to Thornhill Toyota has left me dissatisfied with the level of trust and transparency at the dealership. I expected a reputable dealership like Thornhill Toyota to prioritize the welfare of their customers and their vehicles. However, this recurring situation has left me questioning their integrity. While I cannot definitively accuse anyone at the dealership of unethical behavior without concrete evidence, I believe it is crucial to share my experiences to ensure that others are aware and can make informed decisions. The last thing any vehicle owner wants is to feel taken advantage of or deceived by the very people they trust to care for their cars. Unfortunately, Thornhill Toyota's repeated occurrences of suggesting tire repairs during oil change appointments have left a sour taste in my mouth. It is disheartening to think that this experience might repeat itself with other customers who may not be aware or cautious enough to question these suggestions. In conclusion, my recent experiences at Thornhill Toyota dealership have left me disappointed and frustrated. The consistent pattern of suggesting tire repairs during oil change appointments raises suspicions about the integrity and transparency of the dealership. I urge others to exercise caution and remain vigilant during their interactions to ensure their trust is not compromised. It is my sincere hope that Thornhill Toyota acknowledges and addresses this issue to restore the faith and confidence of their customers. More
