Not happy at all. When I bought my current truck 3 years ago, I traded my old vehicle. It was a retail value of about 13k, but I did not even get 8k. Okay, I swallowed the pill, because I was excited to receive my new one (actually 3 years old). Already some month later the truck showed me a low-battery message, and I was worried about not being able to start it one day. So I installed a small trickle charger under the hood, and plugged it in from time to time. When I went to the dealership, they told me the car is okay, but because I installed this charger, the car would give me a wrong information about the battery. What a BS. I really hate those smartypants, pretending to know everything, but obviously not having any idea about what they are talking about. Outrageous, that they charged me big Dollars for testing the battery (about the price of a new one), and telling me the battery would be good. Some month later I replaced the battery anyways, and (of course) I still have the same issue. But I am not bothering Terry Ortynsky Royal Ford anymore, because I am tired of dealing with the bigmouthed service department. So I wasted 150+ bucks on a brand new battery, regardless that the issue with my truck would have been covered by the warranty I purchased. Lately my truck started to smell like burnt oil, and there has also a recall been issued for safety reasons. It is 3 business days ago that I contacted them using their online form, and asked for an appointment, to have a look at the burning oil issue, and to get the recall fix done. But there is no responds for 3 days already. Still waiting for my email to be answered. This is definitely not the support I am expecting. More

False advertising and outright lying seem to be their motto I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I recently bought a supposed Ford Certified Pre-owned vehicle from them, and I really felt lik I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I recently bought a supposed Ford Certified Pre-owned vehicle from them, and I really felt like I got the run-around from them. First, I went and test-drove this truck. Their online ad said the truck had 56Km; it actually had 72Km. I checked the truck out anyways and decided I would take it provided they detail it (when I test-drove it there was dust all over the interior and ash in the driver's door pockets, and it was sitting on their Sales lot like this)! Next day I went in to pay for it and pick it up. Got home and was annoyed as they hadn't detailed it like they said they would (the dust and ash was still there). Being the guy I am, I went through the truck with a fine-toothed comb as I'm interested in mechanical/maintenance issues. To my dismay I found that its engine oil was dirty, its air cleaner full of oil and dirt, and some of its fluids low. You may say why the xxxx didn't you check that before buying it? My response is, who thinks the air cleaner will be dirty when it is a Certified Pre-owned vehicle? So I was ticked off and phoned their service department. The truck had received its Certified Pre-owned Inspection at 61Km! This means it went through the Certified inspection, then a Ford employee or whoever drove it for 11 000km, and then they parked it on their sales lot for sale. To me this is false advertising!!! They lied about the km's it had on their ad, plus it was not freshly Certified prior to sale!! A lot could go wrong in 11 000km! So I raised these issues with Royal Ford. They had me bring it in for servicing (great, I lost my truck for a whole afternoon, not very convenient when you use the truck for work)! They serviced it but did not detail it as they promised they would, nor did they put in a new air filter, the cheapskates only blew it out! And while servicing it they noticed the rear crankshaft seal was leaking (I could never have seen this, as you have to remove the skid plates on the truck to see it). Great!! So I had to re-book the truck in the following week for a whole day to have that fixed! Again, not so convenient when your business relies on use of your truck!!! So I think Royal Ford stinks!! I called Ford Canada to complain and they seem to be in the business of protecting their dealers, not protecting the public. They said it was my problem to sort out with Royal Ford! I learned something here and hopefully I can help you to avoid the mistakes I made. * Even though they say Certified Pre-owned, find out when it actually went through its Certified inspection/last service. Watch that they didn't Certify it and then drive it for 11 000km as they did in my case, the liars! More
