I was able to make my way to the dealership after hours and drop the keys off for Friday morning. I called the dealership at 7am and explained the situation and the noise it was making. The service representative told me that they would see what they could do and they were very busy, which I fully understood. The representative did call me back later in the day on Friday afternoon and informed me that the power steering pressure hose had failed. At that point I explained that I had an extended warranty and she said she would call and see if it was covered. Very promptly I received a call back advising me that the hose was not covered because it was "rusted". I advised her that I would buy the part from them and have the work done as she said they would not be able to do the work till early the next week. Having to work Friday till after the dealership had closed and not be able to get in to buy the part and pick up my vehicle. After my work day I looked up the dealerships hours and saw that the service department hours were open on Saturdays 8:30am to 5:30pm. I showed up on Saturday morning to pay for the part and and collect my vehicle and to my dismay the dealership was closed despite the sign in the window saying that the service department would be open on Saturdays from the the fore mentioned hours. There was no sign indicating that they were to be closed thus I was not able to get the part and not able to get my vehicle repaired for the trip on the long weekend. I picked up my keys on Tuesday August 5th and was handed a $80.00 and I asked " so I have an $80.00 for you putting up my vehicle in the air for 10 minutes" and the answer I got was snide "yup" and the representative turned her back on me and walked away. So in short I spoke to someone at the dealership three times on Friday and assumed based on the hours posted on the internet and found later also posted on the door that the dealership would be open when on fact they were not and was never told that they would be closed. Was handed an $80.00 bill for ten minutes work and was treated rudely. Great way to start a vacation! I will be sure to remember this experience for quite some time and will certainly share my experience. More
We have been customers of Taylor Ford for 10 years or more now. Always a pleasure to deal with. I know dealer service can be more expensive at times but sometimes it's actually cheaper. more now. I've purchased 2 vehicles so far from this dealership and from the sales and service i have been treated excellent i have nothing bad to say about Taylor Ford Sales as long as they keep treating me right i w from the sales and service i have been treated excellent i have nothing bad to say about Taylor Ford Sales as long as they keep treating me right i will continue buying my future vehicles from here. We had a Toyota before going to Ford and everytime there was a problem i had to fight with the dealer to get service, when the car had about 40,000km the car went in 5 times for the same problem i bought a scanner and told them what the problem was i even called Toyota Canada to try and get my car fixed once and for all and they told me if i wasn't happy go to another dealer, so i did i went to Ford, there will never be another Toyota in my driveway i don't care how good of a deal it is.
