However, we have had a few issues with the vehicle since purchase; the two most notable issues are listed below. Shortly after buying I noticed that the fuel consumption was at least double the rated performance and brought it to the service centre. They charged me for a fuel system flush - not cheap. This did nothing. Over the last 6 months we have had several issues with the push start. The car will not start intermittently. We have brought it into the dealership 3 times, twice towing the vehicle ($200 each). Later I discovered that without pushing the start button but jiggling the shifter, the car will sometime start. The centre hasn't done anything, they don't know why the car is having the problem. Having a car that doesn't start occasionally is not very convenient transport solution for a family of four that use it daily for work/school. They have also not once provided a courtesy car. I researched online and the cars defect is a known issue with many complaints. They are the dealership and sold the car, I expect them to have a basic understanding of its issues. "An improperly adjusted or improperly operating inhibitor switch (range switch) may result in the following conditions on 2010-2013 Hyundai vehicles (Santa Fe, Tucson, Sonata, Elantra, Azera, Accent and Veloster Turbo): - Impossible engine start in Park or Neutral. etc, etc." More

They made sure we were happy with the service from the sale rep brither Joe to the managers to the garage side of things. We have some disabilities and they were very accommodating. Brother Joe kept his promises and was very sincere and direct and absolutely patient. I highly recommend him, he is one of the few salesman I have met in my lifetime I would say is a sincere human being and is truely ethical and very well managed at communicating with all parties effieciently. Highly recommended. More

Bad customer service in service dept Surgenor hyundai Never ever consider buying a vehicle from this dealership We bought 2 brand new vehicles and it went down hill from there The firs Surgenor hyundai Never ever consider buying a vehicle from this dealership We bought 2 brand new vehicles and it went down hill from there The first oil change on both vehicle , resulted in me having to schedule an appointment With the dealerships manager to complain about the service department Both vehicle were to be serviced for an oil change and related service that comes with the approx 80$ they charge They Had both vehicles completed in 10 minutes , why so fast Because they said they changed the oil , they said they would lube all doors, they said they would top up Fluids , they said they would check tire pressure All a general inspection that is included with the oil change It is impossible to bring both vehicles in to the service bay and perform theses duties in 10 minutes None of this work was performed I seriously doubt the oil was even changed or the filter Nothing at all was done , i paid for the servicing on two vehicles and they did not do anything I rechecked all the service that was to be done after the appointment , and was so upset i advised the dealership manager about how they did not perform as outlined in the report The manager had no excuses , was very concerned , and said the issue was new employees in the service dept he assured me that there would be no issues forthcoming Well today i went in to request a quick look to find out why the hyundai accent after only 5000k on it was Having emergency break issues The service manager said we cannot look at it today after taking the day off work to bring it the car He said we may be able to look at it tomorrow , but no guarantee I am never going to recommend this dealership ever to anyone Please consider buying your vehicle at any other hyundai dealership Unless you want to pay for services that they obviously did not do Buying a vehicle from this dealer will only result in you only having a very bad experience please go elsewhere , you will regret this from the moment you need any servicing at all No wonder they have replaced their service manager 3 times in the last year This service dept has serious customer service issues More

Tarek and the Surgenor dealership made this pro A new car is the second most expensive purchase, after a house, and it can be a frustrating exercise. Tarek and the Surgenor dealership made this process much easier and smoother flowing for us. The colour we wanted wasn't in stock so, rather than waiting for a delivery from the manufacturer, Tarek searched locally to find the right one. Two days later it was ready for us, with all the extras that we ordered. Refreshments while waited for the paperwork was another nice touch. You can't argue with service like that. The follow up was also commendable, including getting our mobile phone connected to the Bluetooth radio. A & C More

He made the whole car buying experience very exciting and he was so personable that we felt we were getting guidance from a long time friend. We are so happy that we walked into Tareks office last week cause we are now the proud owners of a New 2017 Hyundai Tuscon awd. My wife and I would absolutely 100% recommend Surgenors Hyundai to any friend or family and we both would say Tarek went way above expectations.
