My 2014 Santa Fe sport had an extended warranty until May 2022 and in September 2022 my AWD transfer case and coupler was indicated as failing with a replacement cost of almost $3000. Mechanic indicated issue must have happened after warranty expired and never was indicated before until I had a safety check done in September to get rid of vehicle. Surgenor service manager was unwilling to even consider a splitting of repair costs. More

Just purchased my first Hyundai product ( Tucson Hybrid) from Surgenor. It was a great experience,considering I left an almost deal at another dealership in town that was a nightmare. The customer service is horrific especially with the Service department. The associates argue with you and include service that you’ve declined. My vehicle stalled last week and I was hoping to get a loaner car. One associate told me they don’t have any car to loan despite my extended warranty. I was frustrated and expressed that I need to have one for work. They said it’s not their problem and they could get me a rental car instead however, they can’t guarantee because of the long wait list. I stayed and told them i really need a car. Finally, they were able to give me something with a slight crack on the front bumper. I asked them if it’s safe to drive and they said YES. After two days, I called in for update on my car & they said they’re ordering the parts for it. During the call, the same associate wanted me to return the loaner car, yet again & mentioned that they’ve put my name on a waitlist for a rental car, however they cannot guarantee when would I get one. I asked them the question, “if I returned this car, I won’t have anything to drive and I need it for work.” The associate was extremely rude telling me I can find a rental car on my own. He mentioned that he cannot argue with me anymore and was raising his voice towards me. 5 days later, after getting my car, I went in for service. I specifically mentioned a basic package for my car maintenance. The associate mentioned about some other services which I politely declined. They still included it. When I asked them about it, they said I said yes to it. At this point, I just paid the bill. I love my car but planning to trade in because of the awful customer service. I don’t want to deal with this dealership anymore. I don’t want to do business with them because of poor customer service. Really disappointing. If I could give them a zero in this review, I would. More

I did not purchase my vehicle here but the staff at the service and the parts depos are great they have helped me more then required several times and have yet to give me any bad advice. I get my oil changes done there and never get “unsold” and had my transmission replaced (even tho Hyundai Canada wanted them to “repair” it). They have done a great job. Thanks Shane and Alejandro! This is our second Tucson as we love the car! I must say both Tarek and Abdul were amazing. Treated us so Well and were very patient in explaining all the features to us.
