2 Stars – Disappointing Post-Sale Service We purchased a brand-new vehicle from Sunridge Mazda three months ago, and recently, our windshield cracked due to a stone impact. A friend who bought the same ca a brand-new vehicle from Sunridge Mazda three months ago, and recently, our windshield cracked due to a stone impact. A friend who bought the same car around the same time from a different dealership received a 5-year windshield repair package, so we called Sunridge Mazda to inquire about getting the same package. Unfortunately, the response we received from Tony in finance was dismissive and rude. He claimed that nothing could be done after a crack has occurred, which we understand might be policy. However, our main concern is the lack of customer service and support from this dealership. After the sale, it seems they’re unwilling to offer any solutions or assistance, which reflects poorly on their commitment to customer care. We expected a more helpful and service-oriented approach, especially when unexpected issues arise. We hope they reconsider their post-sale customer service policies to improve future experiences. Worst experience ever, avoid this place like the plague, unless you want to be brow beaten into a 4000 dollar “Diamond” package. They sold us a car with a blown engine and screwed us around for weeks while they kept the car there and offered no assistance. The sales person was rude and inconvenienced by having to help us and we co around for weeks while they kept the car there and offered no assistance. The sales person was rude and inconvenienced by having to help us and we continued to get lied to and pushed back and forth between sales and service. We went to this dealership because of the great experience we had about 10 years ago. I was blown away by the arrogant and dismissive sales staff. We walked in and paid cash and were treated like garbage. Zero stars if possible! More
One star posted as that is the minimum. Now imagine, went there to purchase a 2023/24 mazda and agent wanted me to test drive a 2018 car. Also had a trade-in and they offered $100. They have no regard for their customers at all. Best to stay away from them. Take your chances in some other city if you can't get anything from any other dealer. PS. I sold my car for 9k More
Prepare yourselves for a cautionary tale of deceit and aggression at Sunridge Mazda in Calgary. As a Mazda enthusiast, I walked into the dealership with high hopes, only to be met with the slimy tactic aggression at Sunridge Mazda in Calgary. As a Mazda enthusiast, I walked into the dealership with high hopes, only to be met with the slimy tactics of sales agent Zeeshan Virk. At first, Mr. Virk appeared professional, but his façade quickly crumbled as negotiations progressed. His tone became increasingly aggressive, and his body language exuded arrogance. It was as if he believed he could bully customers into submission. To add insult to injury, Mr. Virk demanded an outrageous non-refundable deposit of $2500 before even considering discussing the vehicle's price. This blatant attempt at extortion left me fuming with indignation. But wait, it gets worse. Mr. Virk then had the audacity to push a $2500 "Diamond Elite" membership down our throats, insisting it was mandatory for purchasing the vehicle. He went so far as to suggest that Sunridge Mazda could refuse to sell us the vehicle if we didn't comply—a despicable act of coercion. This experience was not just disappointing; it was downright infuriating. Sunridge Mazda should be ashamed to have such a manipulative individual representing them. Potential customers, beware: Sunridge Mazda's sales tactics are nothing short of predatory. Lastly, when I inquired about the possibility of a military discount, as I am an active serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Mr. Virk's demeanor shifted from dismissive to downright disrespectful. His reaction implied a lack of appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who serve our country, a behaviour that is not just unacceptable but downright appalling. If you are a CAF member or a veteran, please stay away from this dealership, there are plenty of other dealers. In conclusion, my encounter with Zeeshan Virk and Sunridge Mazda was a nightmare fuelled by aggression, disrespect, and unethical behaviour. They do not care about people but their profit. I read couple of other reviews about Zeeshan Virk and I am not surprised with the experience people had, who had to deal with him. After speaking with the owner, it was like banging my head against the wall, such a sloppy way to conduct business where on one side their sales agents are ramming the “Diamond Package” down any prospective buyers throat, and the dealership is insisting that it’s optional. So many other reviewers say the same thing but the owner wants to prove that they are right and other people are wrong. Seriously, steer clear of this dealership. Save yourselves the trouble and take your business elsewhere. Sunridge Mazda has lost a customer for life. More
There are cero starts, that is why I am giving 1 start. I started my purchase last Friday, 3 days ago from today. I went there not checking in advance the ratings they have all over online: 1 start and half. I have been scammed, I have been told during the negotiation of the vehicle that it was a no-brainer to accept the numbers piling up on top of the overpriced car. And accept disability insurance, and road assistance, even though I have road assistance service through my car insurance. Pushing a power train and bumper-to-bumper insurance as well. All kinds of fees on top of more prices, added to the value of the overpriced car. It is very disappointing to be in the middle of people who are trained to take advantage of others, pursuing their sales incentives only. So if you want to be taken advantage of and end up accepting what is not convenient at all to you and your needs, please go en enter that Dealership. I am telling everybody who is warm and has a pulse what they do to people who genuinely enter that Dealership looking for a new to them vehicle. The trade-in is also underpaid. So not much if any on the benefit of the potential client. All my friends and friends of my friends and my community FB groups will know about their way of working and treating people. You get out of the negotiation without one single paper, taht states the model of the car or anything that gives the potential buyer an idea of what is one getting into. Thank you to all the reviews that saved me from being scammed! I loved the vehicle but had a bad gut feeling after the test drive, sat down and Jazzy proposed $5500 in “additional accessories fees.” scammed! I loved the vehicle but had a bad gut feeling after the test drive, sat down and Jazzy proposed $5500 in “additional accessories fees.” Upon asking to negotiate I was told their process is a bit “unorthodox”, was given a long and guilt tripping spiel about how they’re a family business and the fees support their wages etc. and that they require me to sign an agreement to buying without even seeing the real numbers, any info on interest rates, etc. AS IF. Not to mention the vehicle itself had rock chops and scratches galore, VERY misleading photos. DO NOT SHOP HERE. at the very least I’m glad I know that I like the make and model of the vehicle and can take my business elsewhere! More
