On Nov. 9th my car unexpectedly came to a standstill and after having it towed to Sun Valley, they took several days to look into the problem. When they did so, they concluded that the timing belt had somehow lost its timing settings and the engine would have to be removed in order to reset the timing. By the time they did so, almost 2 weeks had passed and I was presented with a bill of >$1000.00. Two days later (or 111.6 km. later), the car again came to a standstill. Despite their observation that the engine was covered in oil, they refused to accept any responsibility or acknowledge that they had left the engine oil cap off, or loose. The diagnosis now rose to a $6000.00 complete engine replacement. They were able to immediately provide an interim diagnosis this time - in order to disclaim all responsibility! (It is now Nov. 29th) I will NEVER EVER return to Sun Valley Honda for maintenace/service work. This was the last in a long list of unsavoury dealings that I have had with them. I honestly don't know why I decided to give them another try this time but they managed to deprive me of more than my entrie Christmas budget and have totally DESTROYED my holiday season!! Thanks a million Sun Valley Honda! I hope the favour is returned to you some day! ...a now broke and vehicleless old man. More
On July 23, 2021 we bought a used 2019 Infinity QX60. The Carfax only had the original servicing on drop off and then the servicing at Sun Valley Honda on June 8, 2021. We were told that the car was fully inspected but given no paperwork? Also told that the oil had been changed. About a month after having the vehicle when you made a hard left turn there was a scrapping noise. Upon taking the vehicle to the Nissan dealer here it was discovered that there was a screw driver in the wheel well of the rim and it had also wrecked the tire, as well the oil maintenance light was on and it was far to early if the oil had been changed. We only drove the vehicle about 2,000 Km?? The manager of Sun Valley Honda was in full denial of any responsibility for either of the above issues, said we must of picked up the screw driver and that it is not unusual for high performance vehicles oil to get dirty sooner. He could use some people skills too! I was a Honda owner once and never liked the service at this dealership, in fact I wanted an Acura and the only reason I didn’t get that was because I would have no choice but to go to Sun Valley Honda. Won’t ever be back, love my Infinity, glad to not have to deal with these people ever again! More

Had car problems when on our way to Winnipeg for Christmas. Stopped in dealership and Dylan got our car in for service, repaired the concern and on our way within the hour. Best service EVER. Very upset. Told service dept what was wrong with headlight they said they fixed last year still wasn’t working. My passenger side washer fluid wasn’t working.
