I took my truck in and specifically asked to change out my starter. The day before, I was quoted the part was $195 and was in stock. After the part was installed, I had a $896 bill waiting for me. I asked my starter. The day before, I was quoted the part was $195 and was in stock. After the part was installed, I had a $896 bill waiting for me. I asked why and it was because they did a diagnostic on my vehicle that I never asked for and that costed me almost $400. The labour and the part alone costed me $500 alone. I’m not happy and will be taking my business elsewhere. This is why people don’t like getting their vehicles fixed at dealerships. They nickel and dime you for every little thing. More

They have a great staff and how quick we got the paper work done and how fast we got the truck all in the same day. Charles was a great salesman and he listened to what we need and what we wanted. Beware of this dealership! They sold my friend a stolen vehicle which was later seized by the police. They have refused to reimburse. This is ethically and morally wrong! Buyer Beware – My Experience Purchasing a Truck from Summit Ram Ponoka I purchased a truck from Summit Ram Ponoka, an AMVIC-licensed dealership and part of the Kaizen Automotive Group. Within just a Summit Ram Ponoka I purchased a truck from Summit Ram Ponoka, an AMVIC-licensed dealership and part of the Kaizen Automotive Group. Within just a few weeks of taking possession, the vehicle was seized by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police after it was determined to have been reported stolen. I purchased the truck in good faith, trusting that a licensed dealership had verified the vehicle’s legal title. Instead, I was left without the truck and without the money I paid. Under the Sale of Goods Act (Alberta), a seller must have the legal right to sell goods, and stolen property cannot transfer a valid title to a buyer. For the past 10 months, I have attempted to resolve this matter and filed a formal complaint with AMVIC, but the issue remains unresolved. This situation has caused significant financial loss and ongoing mental distress. I hope Summit Ram Ponoka addresses this matter transparently and provides a resolution. What hurts the most is the feeling of being completely abandoned by the dealership, by the regulator, and by the system that is supposed to protect honest people like us. I am sharing my experience so other buyers can make informed decisions. Consumers should be able to trust licensed dealerships to sell vehicles with lawful ownership and a clear title. #AlbertaConsumerProtection #AMVIC #PonokaAB #BuyerBeware More
