They tryed and pull the wool over my wife's eyes and charded her $20 for a part she did t even authorize. Warranty work is a joke and not worth the time or the paper its written on. They lose pictures of things needing work that they have to send to Hyundai Canada and forget to order parts for warrenty. When parts do arrive - often months later they don't bother calling to let you know. Looking to get another new car - will not be from Sudbury Hyundai. More
Warranty work from xxxx I'm a mechanic by trade. I had done my wife's 2010 Hyundai Accent fall check, cleaned brakes(clean/grease pins), installed winter tires and overall in I'm a mechanic by trade. I had done my wife's 2010 Hyundai Accent fall check, cleaned brakes(clean/grease pins), installed winter tires and overall inspection all performed on my hoist. Front bearings where bad. My wife took the car to Sudbury Hyundai to change the bearings under warranty. When she picked up the car, the dealership told her that there was more work to perform that was not under warranty. A torn boot on the left outer tie rod end, and a bent brake dust shield. She said she will take home for me to look at it. I had on my hoist, I seen what they did to my wife's car. They used the wrong tool (pickle fork) to remove the tie rod end and bent the dust shield at the same time. Removing the tie rod end is required to change the bearing. I went to see the service manager to present my case. It came out that it was an apprentice performed the work. However they still refused to rectify their mistake. Saying that I must of broke the parts when I cleaned the brakes. The tie rod end and the location of the bend on the dust cover is not even close to where you clean the brakes. It's impossible. Then I showed her a picture I took of the similar tool they used next to the damaged parts clearly showing that they caused the damage. She still refused! I asked to speak to the general manager. She refused to fix their mistake, then stated That I DID NOT BUY MY CAR AT HER DEALERSHIP ANYWAYS, so she won't fix it out of spite. These parts are warranty items. It would not have cost them anything. I had my car on my hoist the day before. I am absolutely sure there was nothing wrong with those parts. I had to buy a $30 tie rod end, but pay for a $100 alignment. Nice cheap car, but would not buy another due to Dealership support! More
Great Dealership Very Fair dealings. Had some minor issues as with any new car but they were taking care of quickly. The sales and service staff seem to work together Very Fair dealings. Had some minor issues as with any new car but they were taking care of quickly. The sales and service staff seem to work together as a team, you don't see that much in that industry. More
I had brake work done at this dealership. Upon dropping off the vehicle there was no damage to my vehicle. When i drove the vehicle home I experienced the cars head lights acting strange(why ? -later to fi off the vehicle there was no damage to my vehicle. When i drove the vehicle home I experienced the cars head lights acting strange(why ? -later to find out the headlight had shifted due to damage). I phoned the dealership when I got home and told them my issue. They told me to bring the vehicle back in. The dealership pointed out the headlight and front fender had been damaged. The car had run into something and I had not done this. The dealership told me it wasn't them and if it happened in the lot it wasn't their fault. The cost of the damage out of my pocket is $1300.00 plus. More
