Our sales manager, Brent Erb, was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had test-driven 4 vehicles through the morning and Subaru (Forester XT) was our last one for the day, and the experience was excellent. Brent took the time to explain all the important aspects of the vehicle, without boring you with the 'typical' sales pitches etc. and then simply handed us the keys to take the vehicle out for our test drive ourselves! The negotiation process was smooth and they were on the ball when it came to keeping us updated with the status of the vehicle. Would definitely recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a Subaru, and if you are looking for a Forester, Brent is your guy !!! More
Repeated Problems Not Of My Doing First of all,I would say my Subaru has been a good reliable vehicle. I've owned it for one year, purchased as a "Used Vehicle" from another dealership. I needed tires and decided to give the London Subaru Dealership (LSD) a try. The sales person offered me either Winter, Summer or All Season tires. I chose All Season. That was in December 2014. I got chatting with a friend in June and he noticed I was driving with Winter Tires. So I went back to LSD for clarification. And sure enough, they'd erroneously sold me Winter tires and told me that the tire companies no longer make an "All Season" tire. So I got talked into buying 4 Summer tires supposedly at "cost" price (quoted at $690 including taxes). When the tires were installed (several days later), the bill I was presented was for $845. I contested and eventually they lowered the invoice to $694. Two weeks later, I heard a "clunking" noise in the right rear wheel. A mechanic friend who didn't have time to check it out, pointed out that 2 of my tires were "low". And since they were filled with Nitrogen, I would have to go to a dealer. I went back to LSD to have the tires topped up. But their mechanic found a broken wheel stud and (of course) it would have to be replaced. I inquired how much this would cost, and was told "$15". A couple of hours later, the receptionist came to me and said my car was done and it was "Free". As it turned out, she had given me someone else's keys, so I went back to the counter, found my keys and drove off, assuming what I had been told was correct (ie. "Free").. When I got home, there was a message on my phone saying that "there was a mistake and I had an outstanding bill to pay". When I went back later that day, I was told my invoice was over $150. Again I contested saying that I had been told the repair would be $15. I was advised at THAT point that this was ONLY for the parts. (The invoice also noted that ALL the wheel nuts on the affected tire were "loose" and all tires were re-torqued.) After expressing my dissatisfaction for the cost of this repair, they reduced my bill to $74. (Coincidentally, this repair was also the reason for the "clunking" noise in the one wheel...the wheel stud repair fixed that.) The point of all this...LSD were the ONLY ONES to have any contact with my tires. They installed them, and had installed the previously incorrect tires. Therefore any problems with the installation should have been borne by LSD completely and I should NOT have been charged for this repair. I will NOT return to LSD for any further service work. More
