Steven Lutfy Bought a used Subaru from Steven Lutfy who assured me the car was in great shape and has had a full inspection. Come to find out the roof started to r Bought a used Subaru from Steven Lutfy who assured me the car was in great shape and has had a full inspection. Come to find out the roof started to rust through and needed to be repainted. The clutch was blown and needed replacement immediately after. The paint peeled off the rear bumper. The exhaust rusted and needed to be replaced. Engine required new spark plugs and coils after misfiring. Also turned out the oil hadn’t been changed and was completely black. None of this was covered under the warranty he talked me into buying with the car also. All together about 3000$ of work put just after buying the car and this was all within 2000km of owning it. More

Misleading Guarantee Information I bought a used car and I was told that since I had the Certified Inspection done on the car, I would qualify for 6 months "bumper to bumper" coverage I bought a used car and I was told that since I had the Certified Inspection done on the car, I would qualify for 6 months "bumper to bumper" coverage for defects. When it came to do the repairs before the six months was out, it turns out the "bumper to bumper" guarantee does not include many essential items that one would normally expect a warranty to cover. I suggest everyone to read the fine print and not go by what the sales staff tells you. More
