I went to pick my Ford Explorer ST 2021 only to discover the controls on the windshield was starting to fall off. it took four months to get that fixed. since that time we have had multiple problems with th the controls on the windshield was starting to fall off. it took four months to get that fixed. since that time we have had multiple problems with this vehicle, for example rear backup assist and backup camera not working and failing mostly every day. I’ve had the SUV in many, many times and the SUV still does not have reliable backup assist. Now the locks are acting up. They frequently do not come open and sometimes we have to climb over the front seat to get to the driver side. Other things are failing. For example, the radio sometimes won’t turn off. When backing up, sometimes the indicator on the dash says there is an object behind the SUV and the car slams to a halt (there is nothing there!). 18 months later, we are still dealing with the back up camera failing, doors not locking or sometimes not opening and controls failing. Also, the battery cannot hold a charge and when it drops to 80% the SUV computer chip says that to preserve the battery charge, the computer on board is shutting down all nonessential features. Very disappointing. This dealership knows about these faults and yet the service department turns the car back to us at the end of each day. I wonder, if we had an accident because of these faults would ICBC say that’s OK? I think not. Would ICBC pay for repairs to the vehicle and any injuries to people in the vehicle? Steve Marshall Ford seems to think this is OK, and says we just have to wait for parts to be found!! 18 months later? (that our car is unsafe, that our car slams its brakes on for no reason, or that the display panel for the camera blanks to blue screen and the doors don’t lock securely. we are very frustrated -our brand new vehicle first in 40 years, and it’s been a lemon from day one. So upsetting! More
I purchased a new 2012 Ford Focus titanium back when. It had an issue with the transmission and I asked them to look. They reprogrammed the tranny and told me to come back after 12000 km but it did same thi had an issue with the transmission and I asked them to look. The service manager was difficult and it wasn’t until I told him I was going to park it in front of his doors before I got satisfaction. Will never buy another Ford product. More

The girls were great dealing with in service. Simple oil change.Got truck back, open hood oil all over rocker cover down to frame ,out side looks like oil almost dripping off frame.Lost my business and thi change.Got truck back, open hood oil all over rocker cover down to frame ,out side looks like oil almost dripping off frame.Lost my business and this is my last time going to any Ford dealership in Canada.Wast of time and money. Will NEVER recommend Steve Marshall Ford. When trying to get repairs done on car will deny there is an issue even though another Ford dealership confirmed issues and completed repair. This dealership was a nightmare from start to finish. The salesman did not show me all the damage on the vehicle knowing I had to drive 1.5 hours to view it. They attempted to sell me damage that occurred through vandalism in their own lot. The word “dick” was carved into the paint on the tailgate and the salesman actually tried to sell it to me (the finance manager let slip the damage happened on their lot) The vehicle was delivered filthy and not sanitized during the covid quarantine. It was so bad I specifically asked 3 times prior to my purchase and was told it would be done. there was grease and grime on every surface including the seatbelts. Dog and human hair in the seats. Food and debris on the floor etc. When I picked it up they told me they could not clean the truck, because they had no cleaning staff due to covid 19. I was under the impression that cleaning was the most important and deemed an essential service?? I had to pay to have the truck detailed myself. through one of 50 open detail shops in the area. I’ve bought 4 new fords and this dealership by far was the most dishonest, and by far the most unpleasant to work with. I highly recommend going elsewhere. I only wish I could post pictures here......... More
