This is a terrific Dealership. It did NOT get a full 5 on all points for 2 reasons. 1. I only use Synthetic Oil, this is a constant issue. Today I was asked if I had called ahead to make sure they had or on all points for 2 reasons. 1. I only use Synthetic Oil, this is a constant issue. Today I was asked if I had called ahead to make sure they had ordered Synthetic Oil for my car ( I have never been asked this before) I wasn't ever told that this was an expectation of me.... the Customer. Then it was explained that they would have to order the oil and it might take extra time to complete the job as a result. 2. The price is obviously higher resulting from my choice of ways to protect my engine, made even higher because they do not keep regular inventory of Synthetic Oil. I am very sensitive to this particular issue because I have had them use regular oil in the past. More
To Whom It May Conern... I consider myself quite fortunate to have found a group of service advisors, technicians ( mechanics ) and booking staff to look after all the maintenance and service issues fortunate to have found a group of service advisors, technicians ( mechanics ) and booking staff to look after all the maintenance and service issues that are necessary for our two Ford vehicles. Ford Motor Company should take the time to compliment the memebers of the service department at Steve Marshall Ford as they all are excellent customer service employees.. that includes everyone from the booking in staff to the service consultants and of course the technicians ( mechanics ) .. One tech ( Monte ) has been more than helpfull to answer any questions I have concerning our vehicles which we keep in top shape. Our regular service schedules keep us in constant contact with this staff and I think they are the best.. Larry Waldorf More
I brought my "new to my family" 2004 Freestar in to Steve Marshall Ford in Nanaimo, BC to have a new "chip" key cut, and it, and a new key fob programmed to the vehicle. Not only was the servi in to Steve Marshall Ford in Nanaimo, BC to have a new "chip" key cut, and it, and a new key fob programmed to the vehicle. Not only was the service exemplery and fast, but my bill was $9 under what I had been "ballparked" AND my van was washed and vacuumed... This is my first experience with this dealership, and so far, I am nothing short of extremely impressed. Score 1 for Steve Marshall Ford's Service Department, they will have my business for as long as I own a Ford. More
Customer Service, friendliness, and overall experience was reduced from great to ok due to a discussion with the Service Manager. Dealing with the diesel technician and Laurie I would rate at 5 which is was reduced from great to ok due to a discussion with the Service Manager. Dealing with the diesel technician and Laurie I would rate at 5 which is great. I believe that I have a valid concern with my 2008 F350 diesel Superduty. The fuel economy is very, very poor. The truck has been in several times for fuel economy issues. I spoke with the customer service manager and he basically told me that is the way it is. Nothing I can do about it. It appeared the customer service manager didn't even want to talk to me about this concern but eventually I was able to get into see him. With this kind of attitude and no resolution to this problem we will never buy another Ford again. I did tell the Customer Service manager that I wouldn't purchase another Ford and it didn't seem to bother him. He just tried to sell me a 2011. More
To begin with, no dealership can be great without a great product, and we think Ford is just that. The Fords we have and have had, have all been reliable, well-designed vehicles, and the 2010 Ranger we bough product, and we think Ford is just that. The Fords we have and have had, have all been reliable, well-designed vehicles, and the 2010 Ranger we bought last August is no exception. We were impressed with this dealership's response to our needs. That is to say, we identified our requirements, made clear the use we intended for the truck, the features we wanted and - more importantly - the ones we didn't want, and we were then shown a vehicle that corresponded to what we had said. We were not bomnbarded by a hail of bafflegab aimed at convincing us to buy a more expensive truck or other features we had already made up our minds we weren't interested in. We were simple shown what we wanted, offered a test drive and we then purchased the behivle - the only one we saw, because we had no need to see any others. We are careful buyers, we knew what we wanted and how much we wanted to pay. We had done our homework, and we met with an clear effort to provide us with what we needed. We did do some comparison shopping, as everyone should, and were supremely unimpressed with the level of interest and service we encountered. All other dealerships did their fast-talking best to argue us into a more expensive vehicle. They didm't succeed, did they? We are also very pleased with the 100% maintenance agreement we have, and in the recent recall we were attended to speedily and received all the information we needed to be sure the matter was being attended to properly. I was impressed with the service I received. I find that it is much improved over the last couple of years and enjoyed my time with you. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the people who were involved it is much improved over the last couple of years and enjoyed my time with you. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the people who were involved but my service guy was the fellow at the first desk past the parts counter. He was very friendly and helped me a lot. The service was quick, on time, and I was offered coffee or water which was much appreciated. I also met with Ryan, one of your sales reps. who also was very helpful and offered his demo for me to use should I wish to. Maybe next time Ryan. This was just a quick little job, but thanks anyway. I brought my 2008 Ford Escape into the dealership for some regular maintenance and because of an issue with it idling at very low RPM's. I have received great service with the folks at Steve Marshall. I just had winter tires put on and you have stored my summer tires which is a great service. When my car needs a wash job and I am driving by the dealership Ryan personally make sure my car gets washed. When I had my tires changed Ryan lent me his car while the job was being done. I ordered the tires from the dealer and had to go to Mexico for three weeks. When I returned the tires were waiting for me. Ryan also lent me his car when I had front mud flaps installed on my car. He is always personable and always asking me how he can help me. He also helped me set up my phone for Blue Tooth. More
