We leased a vehicle for the first time about 3 weeks ago and we've made a mistake with the mileage allowance. Long story short, VW Finance will not allow us to amend our contract to increase the mileage. Obviously, we are wiling to pay the increased payment, but it's not a possibility. Be careful out there folks! More

Very poor service. My dash cam caught them overcharging me I had an issue on my car that I dealt with Volkswagen Canada. They informed me I need to deal with the service manager at the dealership but I could I had an issue on my car that I dealt with Volkswagen Canada. They informed me I need to deal with the service manager at the dealership but I could not get him on the phone and he would not return my calls or emails. I had to just stop in to the dealership to get to talk to him. After three weeks of Volkswagen Canada trying to get in touch with the service manager they gave up and just asked me for the information. They said they would note the poor service they were receiving as well. When the car went in for service I received a call from the service desk that the car needed extra work at additional cost. They called during the day to inform me of the progress of the car and it would be ready for 2 PM. It was ready for the time they said it would be but unfortunately for them I have a dash camera. The car was finished after three hours (8-11am). An hour and a half after it was finished is when they called to tell me how everything was going well and it would be ready in a couple more hours. This while my car was finished and parked outside. I understand the concept of being paid piecework and how they can complete a six hour job in only three but what disappointed me was the phone calls and the lies that they were still working on my car. Then charging me an extra full hour to cover Additional work required Work by the technician was fine with no issues. My experience with Volkswagen Canada was good. More
Worst Service I Have Ever Experienced I have been to their service desk multiple times for the same issue and it never gets fixed. I have had to take my car in 3 times this month alone fo I have been to their service desk multiple times for the same issue and it never gets fixed. I have had to take my car in 3 times this month alone for something they should have fixed the first time and they try and charge me the 100 diagnostic fee each time. My last visit on Friday finally fixed my issue (They changed my wiring and throttle body) and now I have no working lights in my car. I called to tell the service manager and he said it has nothing to do with the work they did on my car. So apparently right after my service appointment both of my front lights magically stopped working and it has nothing to do with the wiring they replaced. Worst service I have ever experienced. They just keep trying to charge you money for the same thing and make no apologies on their end for their mistakes. A complete ripoff. Would never recommended. More
Unbelievably bad 2007 VW Rabbit (bought there) involved in an accident comes back from the shop unblended so it is now 2 different colors. Got a bunch of bs about angles and it will fade to the right color. Girlfriend gave up. They refuse to fix. Brought it back for VW rust warranty on door. Very accommodating except I had to rent a car for 14 days ($500) while they fixed a little rust here and there. Got the car back today and they didn't fix the spot I brought it in for. Now I have to take it back, get rust approved, rent a car again, blah, blah. Run, don't walk from this dealership. NEVER LET THEIR BODY SHOP NEAR YOUR CAR. More

I was told when I took my car it to be diagnosed that the part (computer) would be in 'within a week'. It will be four weeks since the stereo died before they will have time to re-install it. What is especially frustrating is that I bought a car just before summer, to enjoy it during summer. That included lots of road trips WITH MUSIC. Again, things happen, I know.... but some phone calls along the way to explain why it has taken so long, or giving me a reasonable time frame in the first place would have gone a long way. I had a very nice salesman, Nate, and would recommend him, but otherwise the way I have been treated POST buying a car from them is much different from how I was treated just before I bought the car - and that says a lot to me. More

There is a comfortable waiting area with wifi if you need/want to wait. On one occasion, we took the shuttle to the mall. The driver was friendly and accommodating. More
