THEY CANCEL DISCOUNT SERVICE CARDS IF YOU TURN DOWN ANY OF THEIR "RECOMMENDED" SERVICE UPCHARGES This dealership had honored an oil change card - that we negotiated when the vehicle was purchased - for OF THEIR "RECOMMENDED" SERVICE UPCHARGES This dealership had honored an oil change card - that we negotiated when the vehicle was purchased - for years, up until this year's oil change. It is their 'policy' to no longer honor the card if you turn down ANY recommended service. In this case, they recommended that the coolant be flushed and brake fluid change, which we declined as I had recently bled the brakes and done a complete coolant flush myself. This would suggest that their mechanics aren't actually checking the fluid qualities, they just see in their records that they have not done that service and proceed to no longer honor their word about discounted service. When informed that the fluids in question had in fact been changed they still insisted that they will no longer honor the card if we turn down their unnecessary maintenance. We will no longer be brining the vehicle there for any service, nor any other Go Auto dealer. This is not the first time we have encountered hostile policies and unfriendly staff at their dealer network. They should honor an oil change card requiring an extra $400+ worth of service charges that are not required. More
Geez, contacted them about seeing a used car they have on their website - couldn't even get past the, " ....paying cash or financing?" question! Never even got a chance to actually see the car even.
