Went for a regular oil change and checkup. Needed bumper body work from a minor accident that cracked the bumper. Had my car back in a day and a half. Work well done. Needed bumper body work from a minor accident that cracked the bumper. Had my car back in a day and a half. Work well done. More

Their distorted? insistence was that it was in poor condition. However, my acceptance to change the battery absolved me of my responsibilities towards the environment! Here’s how. I’ve been continuously replacing batteries since my commutes have been limited to within my neighbourhood. To extend battery life (and reduce the number of toxic dead batteries that I would dump on the environment), I would normally run the engine for 20 minutes (most mechanics’ recommendation to keep a battery fully charged). This balance between noxious gas and toxic dead batteries was my attempt to be environmentally responsible. Toyota thinks otherwise! In preferring to dump toxic dead batteries (or in this case a toxic operational battery), Toyota has decided to take stewardship over the environment. Fine by me! On another matter, the servicing was pricey as usual, but it brings piece-of-mind that I’m running a car that is fully operational! More
