Mark was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly in going over the features of the vehicle we were interested in buying. His attention to detail, even the seemingly insignificant ones like demonstrating how the trunk of the SUV could more effectively fit my dog's crate, is outstanding. Mark went above and beyond in ensuring our experience with Southtown Hyundai was a very positive one and we ended up buying the vehicle that same day :) A shoutout to Derek who dropped off the vehicle to us and went over the features of the SUV again to ensure I was well equipped and felt comfortable driving it right away. Haneef, the Finance Manager, was also very helpful, friendly and courteous in making the overall experience a good one. More

Rude employees + Unethical Practices We were at South Town Hyundai and interested in purchasing a new vehicle. We saw the vehicle advertised on the website $28 622 + GST. The sales r We were at South Town Hyundai and interested in purchasing a new vehicle. We saw the vehicle advertised on the website $28 622 + GST. The sales representative brought forth a price of $32 445.25 + GST, $3823.25 more than the advertised price. This took us by surprise as it was not expected and we felt that we had been misled by the post on the website. Part of this price difference was because of a $1299 Winter Package, $625.25 AMVIC fee, and $1899 3M Gold fee. These items weren't mentioned online and are all things we are not interested in and therefore feel we should not have to pay for them. This practice is also prohibited based on the AMVIC All In Pricing requirements, which effectively states that the only fee that can be added to an advertised price for a vehicle is GST (unless the buyer is interested in additional options). Moreover, the dealer's website itself indicates that " Prices for the provinces of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia include dealer-installed accessories, optional equipment physically attached to the vehicle, transportation charges and any applicable administration fees, but do not include taxes, insurance or licensing fees." When we brought up that this practice is not permissible per AMVIC and a violation of the consumer protection act, they were extremely rude and disrespectful and they practically kicked us out of the store. We did end up filing a complaint against the unethical practices of this dealership and its attempt to take advantage of potential customers. More

Looks to me there are bunch of inventory to choose from and they are so flexible to cope your need. I was impressed on the valet services that they suggest to deliver the car I want from Edmonton to Calgary at my door. I regret that I find another better deal subsequently in Calgary but appreciate the assistance given to me by Southtown Hyundai as they show care for their customers. My comment is purely based on email exchange over internet and have never physically visited the showroom nor interact face to face with a salesperson. More

The day of vehicle pickup he went the extra mile to meet our needs and thoroughly explained our vehicle features/driving to us. In the interm before our vehicle purchase decision and after we decided on our vehicle of choice, Norbert Horvath also was very helpful, calling us to keep us informed as required. The transaction was smooth and excellent at that time but unfortunately, I didn't notice that one of the rims that they gave me was oversized so I went back to the dealership and ask for the manager. A big thanks to Jacob Smith (Sales Manager) and Darren McCullough (Parts Manager) for helping me resolve my problem. Those guys are absolutely incredible! I found them to be exceptionally courteous, efficient and sensitive to concerns about resolving my problem. I highly recommend the dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used car purchased.
