Exellent Service. Willing to " Go that extra mile" On Dec 9th of this year, I was in a front end collision where my car had been totally written off. When all was said and done with insurance... I was On Dec 9th of this year, I was in a front end collision where my car had been totally written off. When all was said and done with insurance... I was left a deadline of Christmas Eve. where I would lose my car rental through them. I am disabled you see, and not having a car for C-Mass for me and my family basically meant that there wouldn't be much a holiday at all. Car shopping under that kind of deadline had me contacting almost every dealership in Edmonton looking for a newer, still certified and under factory warranty within my price range. Most of them just saw blood in the water... When other dealers didn't have stock that matched my price range, almost every last one of them proceeded to try to sell me old cars well past the warranty and only on their way down in value. Exactly what I did not want. but don't worry, you can buy a extended warranty.. (LoL) SOUTHSIDE MITSUBISHI: Knowing the pressure I was under time wise not once tried to push any product on me. Not ever having owned a Mitsubishi, they sat down and told me the ins and out of various models. What their vehicle classes had to offer, and what cars most closely matched the very well rounded vehicle I had lost. So I could make a informed decision. I was also referred to them by a competitor which kind of said a lot. I originally dealt with Neil, and then Kaushik as well. Neither were pushy, they were both very knowledgeable, and both made it very clear that they valued my taking a interest in purchasing from Southside. I compared the car I had my eye on with Southside, and compared it with other dealerships car's that offered around the same package. Southside's price was very reasonable so I went with the Mitsubishi Lacer that Southside had. I don't regret it at all. They even pushed hard to have my car ready before Christmas, and they delivered 3 days early. They made my Christmas possible, and made me a Southside lifer. TY guys, from me and my family. Cheers ! You made my smallish purchase seem like a 80K car deal in the way I was treated. More

I checked out and initially dealt with a dealership in British Columbia as I happened to be working in the area. I'll comment about them later. Once again Aron, Barry and Kevin proved to be friendly, efficient, and fair. Took my less than a year old Dodge Laramie offering me $2000 more than the Dodge dealerships and nearly a thousand off the price than what the dealership in BC offered, first time, no negotiations. I realize dealerships have to be profitable and could have likely played the game but I thought Southside was fair, quick, friendly and reasonable. Without hesitation I'll recommend them to anyone and I have an amazing vehicle! Thanks Southside! More
Horrible Took my car in for a clutch job, rear main seal replace, new brake lines, pads, rotors, shifter linkage, shifter bushings and water pump gasket replac Took my car in for a clutch job, rear main seal replace, new brake lines, pads, rotors, shifter linkage, shifter bushings and water pump gasket replaced. All parts were provided by me. $4000 later in labour and my car, 2 months later is still at another shop getting fixed. They removed the driveshaft assembly for the clutch job and whatever they did, the car is almost un-driveable now. The driveshaft is vibrating so bad that it's been parked. The clutch adjustment was way off which I crawled under the dash and fixed myself. The mechanic said he was sorry but he had no idea how to adjust it which I was ok with. There were 2 bolts on the transfer case which were loose, one to the point of falling out. They cracked the cover to the rear main seal and tried to lie about it. They called saying that it was cracked and needed to be replaced. When I spoke to my parts guy in the States, he said that they must have cracked it taking it off. When I questioned them they admitted that they cracked it. Upon replacing the seal, they never took the oil pan off like your supposed to therefore it didn't sit properly and leaked. They tried covering the area with a load of silicon but the oil leaked all into my bell housing of my transmission, completely covering all my brand new clutch assembly and flywheel creating it un-driveable yet again due to the major clutch slippage. They forgot to install a few parts that I'd left as well, just small stuff. There were washers and clips missing from the shifter linkage they installed. I ended up having to replace all clutch components again, replace rear main seal AGAIN, and since I got the car back, besides the major drivetrain vibratibackwthe transfer case also developed a very disturbing noise which turned out that they left it basically dry of oil. I spoke to the manager and he said that they would look it over and decide if the problems were theirs or not. I refused to bring it back. There's also the front axle ring that they broke trying to push the axle into the transmission and you can see the dents and scars very clear from them trying to hammer it in. The half of the solid ring is now in my transmission. I'm thinking I'm just gonna speak to the better business place. I paid $4000 for this outcome, plus having to do it again, plus a blown transfer case and a transmission. More

Popped the hood, found couplers out of place, my boost solenoid just laying there not bolted down, vacuum lines unhooked. It was a complete mess (i drove for 100km before doing this and overboosted my engine because of unhooked vacuum lines and it could have blown). I called the dealership immediately and complained, no refund was ever give, no "free checkups" nothing. 1300parts 1900 labour and I had to spend my own time and money making the car right again More
VERY BAD AND WORSE SERVICE . We reported a glass claim to our insurance company - allstate on July 9. Our insurance company faxed their request to TANA three times and she claimed she did not receive it when she gave us her supposedly own fax number. Finally had to talk to Tim the manager to find where that fax was and he found it. Another day passed and still no call from TANA on when the repairs will be done. Finally, I had to step in at your shop only to find out that she is not doing the repairs.....she sent me to Windshield Surgeons instead. This service is worst than the worst service!!!!! You will never see me back there again...........and we will spread the word around......... YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!!!!! More

I have always found the service department at South Side to be honest and up front about all potential costs of my vehicle servicing, and they've always provided the option to refuse any service I did not want. In particular, I'd like to commend the service staff for their exceptional work on my vehicle work last Friday. The servicing my vehicle required was difficult and complex, but they completed it by the end of the day, as promised! This was done during a very busy time for them. I'd like to thank the shuttle driver who worked extra hours at the end of a long day to bring me back to the dealership. And finally, very special thanks and sincere apologies to Carrie, my service advisor. She displayed the utmost professionalism and dedication to customer service under extremely difficult circumstances during the day of my vehicle servicing. More
