Stay away. Go into Calgary. The only thing I hate about okotoks is having to deal with the dodge dealer here. Stay away. They don't care about the costomer. The only thing I hate about okotoks is having to deal with the dodge dealer here. Stay away. They don't care about the costomer. More

Stay away! Took my vehicle in for a noise under the front right side of my vehicle . They began to tell me that I had the wrong size winter rims on the car. I ex Took my vehicle in for a noise under the front right side of my vehicle . They began to tell me that I had the wrong size winter rims on the car. I explained to them if they were not the right size there should be problems with both sides . Geesh they couldn't answer that question. The brake line clip was broken underneath and that is the reason for the rubbing and the noise . They refused to cover under warranty . They told me they did not replace the clip which was a lie because I instantly took the vehicle back to Integra tire where I got the winter tires and rims from and they instantly put the vehicle up on a hoist to show me that there was at least two and a half inches clearance and that Southridge Chrysler was not being honest and low and be hold showed me the nice shiny new clip. They charged me over $400 and refuse to give me my money back. I also went into another Chrysler dealership and they confirmed it should have been covered under warranty. I have placed a complaint with Chrysler Canada and will be registering a BBB complaint. For a small town dealership these guys are crooks. They refuse to call back , they lie about the owner always being away , and don't tell the truth. Sad thing this isn't even the worst. While they had my vehicle they damaged the front hood of my car with scratches and grease and paint chips. They began to tell me It was there before. I rubbed the spot and showed Chuck the grease on my hand. They refuse to fix as they said they asked the technician if he did it and that he said no so it couldn't possibly be them ???? Also when I brought the car home after picking up the vehicle I noticed a leak on my drive way within hours. I instantly took it into another dealership and they said that the power steering hose was cut???? Experience with that dealer was phenomenal. Pretty sad to take a vehicle in and come out with more damage and a bill!!! These guys are just unbelievable . They told me to stop yelling at them ...from the reviews they should be used to it. Their service and abilities are clearly incompetent. More
Ted was very quiet and understated but knowledgeable. At our first visit, he worked within the parameters I gave him and continued to do so both on subsequent visits and through phone calls. I had comparati our first visit, he worked within the parameters I gave him and continued to do so both on subsequent visits and through phone calls. I had comparative deals from up to six dealerships from different manufacturers and there was no hesitation in dealing with developments throughout the process. We currently own a Dodge and a Jeep and had decided initially that we were going to purchase an import. In the end we returned to the same line and purchased a Dodge Journey. We would recommend Ted to anyone looking for a new vehicle from this line. More
Went in to look at a 2009 Ram 1500 they had. Very friendly when I went in with my 3 year old son. Went back later that night with my wife and took the truck for a test drive. Still really friendly an friendly when I went in with my 3 year old son. Went back later that night with my wife and took the truck for a test drive. Still really friendly and was easy to talk to. Said I needed a day to think about it...was a $20,000 truck! Called Ted later the next day. Was told that someone had come in that day and put a deposit down...fair enough, nothing I could do about that. Ted also said that it was subject to financing and that there were issues and that most likely the deal would fall through. Said he would call me the next day with an update. Two days later I finally phoned him and asked what the deal was. He was irritated with me because he couldn't do anything to speed up the other deal...was with a different salesman. Ok, I said just keep me posted. Again, no call to tell me what was going on. Finally went into the dealership to talk with him and he didn't look happy. Said he couldn't do anything but would keep me posted. Finally had enough. Went and looked at other trucks that night. Found one I liked and bought the next day. Never did hear anything from that dealership. Avoid them at all cost! They are not there to help you. They are there to help themselves and nothing else. Bought from okotoks gmc and had great service there. More
Took my Ram in for no start. $3500 later and a new engine ECM I get the truck back. immediately have engine codes. turns out the tech didnt program the injector codes in properly. Also noticed when I got it ECM I get the truck back. immediately have engine codes. turns out the tech didnt program the injector codes in properly. Also noticed when I got it back initially that the engine brake no longer works. As them to fix and they want another $125 diagnostic fee to look at it. Told them it worked fine before it went in and they basically called me a liar and said they have no way to know for sue if it did and that the ECM replacement does not affect the exhaust brake. Got them to admit that the brake is controlled by the ECM but they wont budge in fixing it. Horrible service , will never go back More
Bought brand new 2013 Ram 1500 sport from them last month with cash. They are very friendly before the purchase, of course. Now, I ordered several add ons from the dealership before pick-up, as I did not wan with cash. They are very friendly before the purchase, of course. Now, I ordered several add ons from the dealership before pick-up, as I did not want to have aftermarket accesories put on my beautiful truck by some kid at a aftermarket truck shop. All that I had done was either for protection or towing my trailer. The main problem occurred on the installation of a trailer brake control into the truck so that I can tow my trailer. I informed them, (a couple separate times in fact as they passed me on to their parts manager to "make sure they got it right"), that I wanted the Mopar brake contol that integrates into the dash and display, because I wanted it to look right in the very nice interior of the new Ram. The contol is availble on the Mopar site so I knew it was availble as a add on. When I went to pick up my truck a week later when they said it was ready, I immediatly wreched and complained about how ugly and horrible they installed THE WRONG, AFTERMARKET brake contol, and in a ugly fashion to boot, with visible wires and black tape protruding from the dash, and even rubbing on the driver door leather when the door closed, also in a horrible spot I've never seen a brake control mounted in before, on the left side under the light switch, with the screen shining brightly in my face at night and ruining the look of the interior completely. I took the truck anyways, as Chuck ( the salesman/manager?) said they would get it moved and fixed for me, and I was picking it up near closing. Here's the worst part, looking into the issues on the Internet that night to research why they may have went ahead and threw a aftermarket electrical part in a brand new truck at the dealership instead of the requested and proper Mopar part, I learned that they had made a BIG mistake! That no aftermarket controls should have been put in a 2013 ram do to the possibility of "Severe electrical damage"! A call to the manufacture of the controller informed me that as long as I hadn't yet plugged in a trailer "it should be ok". Long storey short, the next morning on calling them, they reasearched themselves, realized and admitted their mess up, and had me drive back to immediatly tear out the wrongly installed part, leaving me with holes in my brand new dash! Well they orderd the dash parts and brake contol for me apparently, but now I am in a battle with them and chrysler Canada just to have them fix their screw up at my local dealership, ( I should never have bought from them in hindsight as I live 600km away, but was shopping near my Mothers home, and just thought I could trust a dealership to get it right for $50,000!). Not only the distance, but I would not let a this dealership's shop touch one of my vehicle ever again after they have proven their complete lack of expertise in their own products! Their attitude, Chucks and Rons both, went from friendly to stand-offish as soon as they realized they had a problem. Each of them past me of to the other as being the manager, then Chuck told me the manager wasn't in till next week, the ol' classic customer service runaround! Was told the manager would call, no call, Chuck finally called to say they would deal with it after repeated mediation from chrysler, but then again no call for three days! Just horrible service from this place! I am not one of these unreasonable people who is just "never happy". I like the truck or I wouldn't have bought it! I just want them to deal with the damage they caused and complete their sales agreement with me! And they are fighting every step of the way! The next step is a BBB complaint I guess, as Chrysler Canada can't do anything but mediate (unreal that they don't hand this dealership a hearty penalty for installing a non-mopar part when one was availble and pissing off a cash customer, but they don't really care)! Also, I agree fully with the last commenter, if you are not a member of the BBB you must not think much of your customer service obligations. I am going to do my best to knock their "A" rating down to at lease a "B"! All dealerships have about the same prices, no reason to go to these guys you can get the same price everywhere! Maybe there are no GOOD dealerships out their, I don't know, but these guys I will defiantly avoid for my next vehicle! Beware! More
We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and it was almost laughable the way we were treated. When we challenged the salesman Chuck on the pricing and other things about the vehicle he admitted he was almost laughable the way we were treated. When we challenged the salesman Chuck on the pricing and other things about the vehicle he admitted he had no knowledge about it and did not attempt in any way to inform himself. He tried to make us feel stupid with his demeaning attitude, and obvious issues with strong willed women. The GM seemed completely inept in his knowledge of the products he sells. When we came in for pick up, suddenly the sales team left the floor as a group with smirks on thier faces; lead by chuck and his GM. The attutude seemed to be they wanted to teach us a lesson of some sort. The hand off was left to the finance person who faked his way throughout the walk thru which made this company look more like an embarassment to dodge and their affiliates than ever. We put up with this joke of a company because we were able to get a price which was way below the value of the vehicle and consiquently sold it for considerable profit to a reputable dealer. If you feel confident in your buying skills and are able to put up with the crap that goes along with this company go for it. BUYERS BEWARE!! There are many other Dodge dealers in Southern Alberta who can access their inventory. Dont waste your time. PS: We believe that if you are not willing to be a member of the BBB you must not feel you are accountable to your industry and your customers.good luck. More
