Timely answers and information were critical in my decision. Mo was on the ball and responded quickly. It was a pleasure to deal with him and make the trip to pick up my new car. Pros and Cons I purchased my vehicle early this year and recently went in for my first maintenance check-up. Salesperson on the day of my purchase was very nice and friendly and gave us a considerable deal overall. At the same time, as a person that works with numbers and financing, I tend to not trust dealers completely and of course their explanation of how "we're giving you the best deal we can possibly give to our customers". I went in for my first maintenance check up recently (for the second time at VW) and the service from maintenance area was so different from sales department. The girl at the shop (where the car was being checked) was less friendly - she made a mistake printing the invoices (my payment amount came out as twice as what I was told and I had to go ask one of the managers) I wasn't in the best mood either but as a person who also deals with customers, whoever's providing the service is responsible for giving the best service possible. On the other hand, gentleman in Parts was very nice and informative. More

Statement of facts When scheduling my service appointment (including seasonal tire change) for October 14th., I had been asked if the "package was prepaid". I responded When scheduling my service appointment (including seasonal tire change) for October 14th., I had been asked if the "package was prepaid". I responded yes, my tires and rims were paid for. When I arrived to drop off my car the evening before the actual appointment, I was told that my tires had not been picked up from the "Tire Hotel" because the appointment had been wrongly booked as a "new tire purchase" and when I was asked if I had "prepaid package" that is what that meant. I responded: But can't you see on your computer that I purchased the tires and rims last year and that I had them rotated last fall. I was told no, because of the new system. I was told that it would take 2 - 3 days to get the tires to the facility from the "Tire Hotel'. I was not happy as that meant I would have to bring my vehicle in twice. The Service Representative (Chris) "pulled some strings" and managed to get the tires there for the next day. Good to go. But I suggest that when a service representative or booking clerk ask any questions of the customer that they don't assume that the customer will know what for example 'Prepaid package" means. And I suggest that you re-evaluate your "new system" to reflect past work and purchases. More

Service Dear Southgate VW, Did not find my review but I really wanted to tell everybody how happy I am with you! I did not buy my Tiguan at Southgate VW or Dear Southgate VW, Did not find my review but I really wanted to tell everybody how happy I am with you! I did not buy my Tiguan at Southgate VW or at Norden .So I am really impressed ,that you wont let me feel that !.I deal with my matters with Ryan he knows almost everything and is friendly and professional . One day I wanted to see my Tiguan from underneath he went with me in to the shop and I had a chance to do so . But since I am interested and nosy I have seen people in a very very clean and organized shop working on cars they like . Talked to mechanic too and he also was very smart explaining my questions . I am thank full that you guys are so different then Norden Autohaus!!!!!!Don't ask for my experience there!!!!!I don't know , how they can survive .probably only with new costumers who haven't read any review.They cant be proud in what they are doing there . Any way Southgate VW tremendous work .I will be back for sure More

servicing the only downside is the 60K servicing is expensive and I am not sure what you are paying for. Also, about a week after my servicing my wheel bearing the only downside is the 60K servicing is expensive and I am not sure what you are paying for. Also, about a week after my servicing my wheel bearing blew which they never picked up. You would think for a relatively new car, this shouldn't happen? I blame the car itself, the dealership was quick to fix it and rectify the issue. More
