Above and beyond My wife brought our 2006 TDI Jetta wagon in to Southgate Volkswagen as the middle back seat belt had seized. They were able to quickly fix it and did My wife brought our 2006 TDI Jetta wagon in to Southgate Volkswagen as the middle back seat belt had seized. They were able to quickly fix it and did an overall inspection and advised us of some other issues and provided a reasonable quote. They also oiled the driver side door that was squeaking and washed the vehicle. They only charged us 1/2 an hour labour for an hour job. Thanks to the team at Southgate VW! More
Service/sales were fantastic,shuttle service was terrible It started out with the service rep telling me I required timing belt work and about $500 worth of other stuff after only 20k on my engine. When I arrived at the dealership the serviceman actually realized how ridiculous that was before I said anything and bumped it down to just an oil change, which I greatly appreciated. They also promised not to wake me up before the late afternoon because I am on night shift, which they followed through with. My problem was the shuttle service. The drivers were fantastic, but I spent over 5 hours in that van the whole day. If I'm buying a vehicle from a dealership and they are taking my vehicle for a SCHEDULED appointment, then they should be giving me a courtesy vehicle. I will not be using their shuttle again, and I will think twice before suggesting a Volkswagen purchase to anyone else. More

Loaners always available if needed no matter what they are doing to your vehicle, lovely to drive into the service bay and be greeted immediately. A little bit time consuming but it is what it is. And always treated well, which is a nice change form other dealerships I've used! I should mention our service rep added a discount to the bill which was very much appreciated! Only real issue I have is with the push to add services said to be required even though they are not in the manual nor online service guide. An additional $300-$400 in added services without much valid reasoning left me feeling a bit annoyed. We were using our loyalty cards and wondered if that was why the push for added services, even though the book said another year plus before my car should have it done. It used to be that the maintenance book that comes with your car was the required and then you as the owner/consumer got to choose what added services you wanted as extras. Now it's pretty much forced on you as mandatory even though factory doesn't outline it. Our maintenance book is made for Canada, so it doesn't stand to reason that our climate hasn't been taken into account overall. More

Went for used and bought new I went to test drive a used Jetta and walked out with a brand new one. The used cars hold such great value, that when I thought about it why buy a use I went to test drive a used Jetta and walked out with a brand new one. The used cars hold such great value, that when I thought about it why buy a used when only 2-3k more per model year newer I can have a new car. I have had my car for only a few months and still love it. More
