Took to collision centre to address minor scrape on bumper. I discovered after the fact, when my Jeep was put on a flatbed and sent elsewhere, that such work is apparently contracted out to Carstar Col bumper. I discovered after the fact, when my Jeep was put on a flatbed and sent elsewhere, that such work is apparently contracted out to Carstar Collision...as are other disparate dealership collision centres. This '2-3 day' job turned into a 2+ week saga(12 business days). The Collision desk manager did claim to work for Southbank although his name does not appear here in the list of employees? On more than one occasion throughout the 2+ weeks I could not contact the collision manager and there was certainly no initiative from Carstar. I still don't really know if this debacle was more attributable to Carstar or Southbank......about equally disappointing. The last two visits for major work went surprisingly well so I guess it depends on the 'service' manager you must work with. I wouldn't have believed the shear volume of foul ups that could occur for a very minor repair. For me, Southbank's rating now goes from close to 5 down to 3. In this instance the rating is <1 More
