The dealership diagnosed a cracked washer line for my windshield wipers. $550-$650 to repair. I didn’t buy it and took it to my local guy. The problem was just a detached hose. $100 to reattach it and se windshield wipers. $550-$650 to repair. I didn’t buy it and took it to my local guy. Absolute worst experience with this dealership from start to finish. I was unfortunately drawn into this dealership by the lure of an affordable short-term (2 year) lease in 2022. At every level there to finish. I was unfortunately drawn into this dealership by the lure of an affordable short-term (2 year) lease in 2022. At every level there was a lack of respect for the customer and eventually I found out that the salesperson (Rich Wyatt) and the finance manager (Mark Diab) didn't alert me to the fact that the financing company the dealership uses (WL Leasing) is dishonest and frankly bordering on criminally deceptive in its leasing practices. Three weeks before my lease was due I called the dealership and they passed me off immediately to the leasing company. It was then I found out that South Oakville had offered me an 'open ended lease' without any disclosure. The terms were buried in the leasing agreement, but I would be surprised if any retail customers have any idea what this type of lease entails. These leases, almost exclusively used in fleet and commercial leases makes the buyer responsible for the entire buyout value of the car regardless of resale value. You don't get to drop off your car and walk away. You are responsible for the difference between the buyout value and whatever the leasing company will auction your car for. In my case, my buyout was $37,500 +HST and the 'book value' of the car was around $30,000. After two years I was facing a $12,000 charge to return a base model Jeep. After I alerted the dealership to this fact, they were initially sympathetic, with one sales manager (Mike) confiding me in on the phone that these leases are unethical and a very bad deal for customers. However he promised me that he would try to get the best deal for me from the dealership, Even so he was offering me $33,000 and I would still be out nearly $10,000 After repeatedly trying to get a definitive answer, and three visits to the dealership (after they repeatedly failed to answer my phone calls) I made a final visit three days before my lease was due to try and get an agreement. At this time I was routed to Dan Spasojevic (the general manager) who abruptly told me that the dealership was not longer interested in a trade-in for my car. He was extremely unsympathetic and told me that I should have been smarter and took it to a lawyer when I signed my lease so that I wouldn't have been scammed. At every point the employees of the dealership shirked responsibility and left a customer potentially owing thousands of dollars on a lease that they had passed off as a 'standard lease' but in fact is a specialized lease used almost exclusively for commercial fleets. After consulting a lawyer and having to draft a letter to the leasing company stating that their lease terms were in violation of the Consumer Protection Act, I thankfully was able to return the car for a nominal fee. However many other customers without my resources would have probably paid the $12,000 that the leasing company initially invoiced me. Please let this be a warning. A predatory leasing company, paired with an unethical car dealership could cost you dearly. Beware of open ended leases from this dealership as they do not disclose the terms. If you have been taken in by the low payment and their lack of disclosure, consult a lawyer on the consumer protection act. I filed a complaint about this dealership with OMVIC and they have put this dealership on file as potentially acting unethically. More
Bought a used car from them. I unfortunately was over an hour away so I asked a lot of questions. The used car salesmen Steve started by lying to me. Said there was no paint dama I unfortunately was over an hour away so I asked a lot of questions. The used car salesmen Steve started by lying to me. Said there was no paint damage but the fact that a chunk paint is missing from the bumper shows me that was a lie. He also said the interior was immaculate but the ripped steering wheel and couple of stains on the seat also show that was a lie. I wasn’t bothered by these things because I love the car but lying before you even meet your customer is bad business practice. Now onto my bigger problem, my ac isn’t working so I messaged him. Before I bought the car he’d answer in seconds, I messaged him on April 29th about my ac and have heard nothing. Luckily I purchased a warranty but I don’t think a) I should have to use it so soon and b) I should be out the deductible for such an obvious issue. This is something they should have tested and now I have to take time off work to get this fixed losing more money. Definitely will not be recommending or returning to this dealership. FYI he also tried to hide the fact that the car had an accident so make sure you always ask them. More

Honestly I've had a bit of an annoying experience with this dealership. I agreed to purchase a used Ford Escape from them. During the test drive we noticed the AC wasn't working. The sales dept. agreed to this dealership. I agreed to purchase a used Ford Escape from them. During the test drive we noticed the AC wasn't working. The sales dept. agreed to sell the car at the advertised price contingent upon the AC issue being a minor fix. It turned out to require an expensive repair and so both sides pulled back from the deal - no issues with my experience up to this point. However, I put a small refundable deposit down ($1k) on the vehicle and have had to follow-up multiple times on getting it refunded. 3 times I've had to follow-up in a 12 day span and each time I've gotten a similar story about it being processed within the next 1-2 days. Not the end of the world but frustrating that I'm having to waste my time chasing them down. This could very well be a one-off situation/experience but I thought I'd share this feedback. More

I just traded my Challenger at the 5-year mark for a new Charger Daytona. Start to finish the dealership team (Janet, Oz and Mark) were exceedingly helpful and did all they could to make my purchase smooth Charger Daytona. Start to finish the dealership team (Janet, Oz and Mark) were exceedingly helpful and did all they could to make my purchase smooth and seamless, and it was. In the space of two days (Sat. and Mon.), I went from walking-in for a test drive to driving out with my new car! I had no impression of being rushed, or taking up someone's time, just a desire to help me buy what suited me best! I'm a returning customer of 20+ years with this, being my 7th car purchased at South Oakville, previous experience with this dealer was always good but, definitely raised the bar this year! More
Did not provide any paperwork fo the extended warranty. I likely won't buy from here again. I doubt they even read these reviews. Put in a factory order last year for a new vehicle, and the sales rep i worked with was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately this is where the good ends. Due to delays my order ended up changing to a '21 model, and while i was promised by the dealer that my rebate/financing rate would carry over, this was not the case at the time of vehicle delivery. In the end, i ended up losing a substantial rebate which was contrary to communications throughout the 7 month wait period, and dealer waited until the very last moment to communicate this to me, which is highly unethical. I was also muscled around by the staff knowing how rare the vehicle is, and the fact that it could be sold at a higher markup as soon as i walked away. In the end i still ended up picking up the vehicle, but with a very sour taste in my mouth. That communication really should've been better. More
